It's not a link. You put the "< s >" at the beginning and the "< / s >" at the end of what you want to strike out (without the spaces I added between the letters because if I didn't add them it would show on the page).

OK, so i did what you said, but it's striking everything out instead of just the one thing. what do i do???

You put the < s > and < / s > only between the words you want striked out.

For example, you have the following list:
A - Allegiant, Veronica Roth
B - The bad beginning, Snicket

If you want to only strike out Allegiant put:
< s > A - Allegiant, Veronica Roth < / s >
B - The bad beginning, Snicket
