Sam (samvallen) | 7 comments Is anyone reading this? I have been interested in 100 Bullets for a while now, but haven't ever picked up an issue.

Kevin Izworski | 75 comments I read this a while back, when I first started getting into graphic novels, and is a factor in why I continued to read graphic novels. Not the absolute best thing I've read, but definitely one those that gets you thinking.

Corto Maltese | 78 comments it's been a while since, but the whole run is sitting proudly on my rack as one of the best hardboiled crime series of all time. loved it from the beginning, but it was vol 3 that first blew me away completely. highest possible recommendation. on par with criminals and scalped.

Kevin Izworski | 75 comments One of the reasons it probably hasn't struck as much of a cord with me is probably due to the fact that I only read the first volume. Little SPOILER, but I think it ends in a 'to be continued manor'. I'll probably check out the rest at some point. I've enjoyed much of what I've read from Azzarello.

Thanks. LOVE Criminal and Scalped. I'm sold

Robert Davis (robert_davis) I read it 3 years ago, perhaps I'll reread it for this discussion.

Johan (pharmand) | 6 comments This is awesome. I'm currently on the sixth tpb, but had some trouble following The Counterfifth Detective. Hope it helps reading the following volumes. Would like to do a full read together of some of these series instead of only first volumes - would be cool to help each other track the thread through the yarns so to speak. Especially with a series like 100 Bullets it would be nice. Am also reading Scalped, Criminal and Darwyn Cooke's Parker adaptations atm, and these are all great works if you like 100 Bullets.

Michael Cairns (michaelcairns) | 13 comments Hi
I love this series, and cannot recommend it enough.
I'm with Johan on this as well, it would be nice to read a full series through and discuss it as a whole. Something like 100 bullets begs for repeated readings and discussion of certain moments and happenings within it!

Meran | 115 comments I enjoyed this series immensely. There were some dry times, but it was consistently intriguing for most of it! I really don't know how anyone can read only one TPB of a series; all of the books need to be read to get the full treatment of the storyline ;)

And yes, I was surprised by how much I liked the gritty, bad in the good sense of the word Scalped, too. There are quite a few excellent non-superhero series out there; read them!
