Cozy Mysteries discussion

Hey Heather check to make sure you have a date read set for each book. I've noticed Goodreads doesn't always add it in, and that's how it knows it's for the yearly challenge.

I have surpassed my challenge with 34 out of 32 books. I did aim low this year originally with 30 because I have a full time job now to juggle. I feel a bit like a cheater because many of the books were compilations of graphic novels, but they were good reads in their own right. also read the first three Game of Thrones books and those clocked in at 1,000 plus pages by the end. I'll keep plucking along and read shorter books on my Nook until Christmas most likely. I'm getting a Kindle Paper white for Christmas so I'll be reading off that for a bit to feel it out.

Yeah, I checked to make sure they all had dates read. They were all showing on my challenge page, the meter just wasn't registering right last night. It is correct this morning. Just about done with book 101/100. :-)

I need to get a move on: 4 more books to read!

Now we need to set our 2015 Challenges :-)

Hooray, completed! Now it's time to start thinking about the 2015 challenge.

I've finished yesterday (as the December mini-challenge too). Yes, time to think about books in 2015.

I've read 28 of these so far this year.

I'm on #125, the last one I need to complete the 2014 Challenge. I'm not sure what goal I'm going to have for the 2015 Challenge. I may stay with 125 although it was harder to reach this year but since I sold a house, bought a condo and then moved I was very distracted for about 4 months. At least that's the excuse I'm using.

Happy new year! I hope everyone was able to meet their goal. While I had ahard time finishing last year, I managed to exceed my goal this year with 109/100 books.

I happily exceeded my goal of 60 books and read 75. I didn't know what the year would bring in store for me, so I had intentionally set a lower goal. For 2015, I set a goal of 80 books.

Hope everyone had a good year and will have a great 2015!

Happy new year to old! I've finished my challenge but the next year will be a lesser challenge, as I think it will be more realistic and less stressful.

I lost sight of the end this year. *sighs*

Topped out at 159 outo f 150 in the end - a very satisfactory challenge. Roll on 2015.

I made my one and an extra one, so ended up at 151. I thought I was being very conservative with my goal, but just barely made it. I did do a lot of rereads, tho. Haven't set my 2015 goal yet - still thinking about it!
