Clean Romances discussion

Hi! I spend countless hours searching for good love stories that don't contain explicit sex scenes. I'm so glad to have found this group and can't wait to poke around. :)

Have you ever checked out any of Astraea Press' books? They are all clean reads and they have all genres. :)

No but I will! Between that and finding this group my day is shot! lol

Thanks, Joyce! I posted in Recommendations but I honestly don't know if my book can be considered clean. To me it is (it has no graphic descriptions of play-by-play sex), but this thing is so subjective! :)

What matters more is now I have more options for my own reading list. I like reading love stories, not erotica. I'm no prude but it seems most romance novels contain so much graphic sex it just takes away from the story. A little sex, sure. But page after page of who put what where...no thanks. I want to read about love. Not sex. Maybe I'm boring but that's me!

Kay, I hesitate to promote my book as a romance, since it doesn't strictly abide by the genre rules, but it is a love story, and there is no explicit sex or violence...

Well, I'm more into love stories than romances due to those romance genre rules you mention. So I will definitely have a look at your book, Gary.
