I read his Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, but I haven't read the rest. If you guys like a kind of romanse/action/magic and awesomeness kind of book I recommend you all read the Faerie Path trilogy by Frewin Jones! The first one is 'The Faerie Path' the second 'The Lost Queen' and the third is 'The Sorcerer King'.

ive read the inheratence (sp?) trilogy and i loved them! and inkheart and inkspell. is she writting a third one? havent read the dark materials though. my mom bought me the second one without realising it wasnt the first. and i plan on the fairy path.

i really liked 'in the stone circle' by elizabeth cody kimmel and 'hunters moon' by o. r. melling. im really into medieval europe and both of these take place there but theyre a couple of my favorites. (since my tops have already been mentioned) 'in the stone circle' is a little more paranormal than magical but wonderful.in more ways than one.

i like "The naming" by.....shoot can't think of her name...lol

Most of the books mentioned I really like, (the others I still need to read) I would recommend Terry Goodkind - The Sword of Truth Series.
On a separate note: how does the Fantasy Lovers Book Shelf work? to add a book do you need to discuss as a group whether or not to add it? or is it a Book Shelf for recommending our favorite Fantasy Novels to each other? If that is the case shouldn't all of the books in this post be in the book shelf? or is it something else?

read hawksong or the twelve kingdoms, narnia, or the alchemyst. oh and harry potter is the best series ever!!!! so is the twilight series and the his dark materials series.
