2025 Reading Challenge discussion

First time I set a goal like this. I've never checked how many books I read in a year. It'll be fun to see how much I read. I'm aiming for at least 2 books a week, maybe more some weeks. We'll see how it goes.

I already finished my first book of the year on Thursday. Fly on the Wall by E. Lockhart. A nice, short and enjoyable read. 5/5.

Currently reading I am a Genius of Unspeakable Evil and I Want To Be Your Class President by Josh Lieb. So far it's enjoyable, but not great. I'm curious to see how the story will unfold.

Yeah :) How many books are you reading?

My goal is 110. Up 5 books from last year. School got in the way a lot so I don't want to over challenge myself and get annoyed with myself at the end like I did last year. I've read two books so far and I'm reading my third.

That's an impressive amount. If this challenge goes well, I'll hopefully be able to increase my number to at least a 100 for next year too.

I think reading I am a Genius... was perhaps not such a good idea after all. I don't feel like reading it now, I just really feel like reading some fantasy/dystopian right now...

That's too bad... but at least you know now. Just find something better. Reading should not be a chore.
