I absolutely loved this book and I feel like the movie was a great adaptation of this book.

I thought the same thing. I think it is much better with all the music that was added to the movie. If it was not a musical, it might not be as interesting. I'm trying to figure out of I want to read anymore of the Oz series.

I did not really like this book. I do think that it would probably make a great movie, but just not something I preferred reading. I really wasn't interested until I got to the last 4 chapters.
