Synopsis:

It does! I work at a library and I see it on the shelf all the time!
It keeps calling to me every time I'm in the YA section! lol!! :D

It seems like I'm not the only one who forgot about this buddy read. Even though I did not post while I was reading this book, I did, however, manage to finish it - 11 days later. hehe.

I really like where Dan Krokos is going with this story. I rated this book 4 stars! Man, there is so much stuff going on and so many duplicates or clones that you forget whether or not you're cheering for the right person. The main characters are Miranda, Peter, Noah, Olive and Rhys.

Miranda: (view spoiler)[ is pretty cool. With all the amnesia going on and "memory shots" I get a little confused on what's real or what's not. She's a definitely a fighter. I love that about here. I'm so happy that she didn't turn out to be a cry baby. There were "memories" that were coming back to her, but it seems like they were really not hers. This is the fascinating part. How can you possibly implant someone else's memory to someone else? (hide spoiler)]

Peter: (view spoiler)[ I loved Peter. He is bad ass. He's very strong and incredibly smart. He's not easily manipulated. I have a feeling that he feel in love with Miranda before. But again, was it his real actual self or from his past clone(s)? (hide spoiler)]

Noah: (view spoiler)[ Noah is ok. I don't think he played a huge part in this book. But I think he will be playing a huge part in the next book. At least I hope. Noah ran away from "home" because he found out the secret behind the memory shots. He overheard a conversation in the scientist's room about putting them to the test - it included buyers, chaos, weapons, etc. He is also a pretty strong guy, but it seems like his part in this is to be extremely smart - to think things through. An analyst. That's the word I'm thinking. And it seems that he too had a love affair with Miranda. Again, real or fake? (hide spoiler)]

Olive: (view spoiler)[ Olive really didn't play a huge part in the book, but I think she's warming up. I find her to be strong, sexy, and a romanticist. She secretly loved Noah, but never had the balls to tell him or act on it. She ends up losing her memory in the story, but I don't think they were true memories. I think, because it happened so quickly, that she was the weakest in the four of them. Her brain for some reason likes to wipe clean pretty quickly - meaning that her dose of memory shots was much higher. What will she remember now since she missed her dose? (hide spoiler)]

Rhys: (view spoiler)[ Rhys! Boy oh Boy. This guy is HOT. He is the rogue. The weapon that this company could not dominate. He has a very small part in this book, but I hope he kick major behind in the next two books. Mind you, he is the ONLY one of his self. That's freaking awesome. I know why they did not make more of him: 1) They couldn't; he escaped, 2) they were not able to dominate him; he rebelled and 3) he was too smart for his own good; bad idea to have so many smart Rhys's running around and destroying your plan. Go RHYS! (hide spoiler)]
