Hi authors,

I just wanted to let you all know about an even that is going on, on Facebook. A ton of authors are liking each others pages. Be sure to like pages using ONLY your personal FB account, not your page(s).

If you would like to join this event, add me as a friend on FB https://www.facebook.com/marisaoldham... , then post on my wall that you would like to be invited and I will send you the event as soon as I can. My page count went from 165 to 276 in one night.

PS. Please do not ask to join the event unless you are fully committed to LIKING all the pages that are posted. It takes HOURS to do this and it's not fair if everyone that signs up doesn't participate.

Marisa, do you have to do it from a laptop? I couldn't click on the spreadsheet from my phone:(

Thanks! Sounds like a great event, I'd love to be part of it. Always feels right to support other authors (and I'm always looking for new reading material!). Thanks for sharing it on here :)

I would love to be a part of this event, I *like* pretty much every author page I come across anyways. My question is, do I a have to be an author to participate in the event or is it okay that I'm a blogger?
I'm also having the same problem as everyone else above where I can't add you as a friend for some reason. If you could maybe add me instead, my personal fb page link is https://www.facebook.com/apboggs1

I think it's okay. I'm pretty sure the only thing that you MUST do is like everyone's page. It takes forever!

Friend request has been sent. As soon as you respond I'll invite you to the group. Best of luck. I went from 165 likes to 322 in just about three days. Not too bad!

Leave a comment on here if you like my page with the page you want me to like/ or befriend and I'll go do it straight away. I think that way I know who have liked my page.

There is an actual Facebook event that I can invite you to where about 500 authors have left their pages. Now I'll be straight with you, not all authors are holding up their end of the bargain, but I've seen my page likes go from 165 to over 500 since I started on Saturday. It is a lot of work. It took me about 2-3 hours to like everyone's pages (I did it all in one night). Send me the link to your personal FB, because you have to like the pages from your personal page. Page to page doesn't help with getting your posts as a page out there, only increases #'s, and then I'll invite you to the event if you like.
