And having a whole bunch of #1 series books lined on the inside of that coat.

Just saying.
<.<"
Shakes fist at Ala

I'd be keen for some more UF recommendations as well (other than the ones that others have mentioned elsewhere in this thread of course :)
If anyone can recommend some good "colonisation of space" books as well that would be great. The Last Colony and The Reality Dysfunction are two of my favourite sci-fi books and I'd love to read some more stuff with that theme. Want to get to On the Steel Breeze as well at some point.

Hahaha I just spotted this post. I assume I'm wearing a hat and dark glasses as well in this scene.
"Come on kid the first chapter's always free."
Emily, I don't call that boring at all. Those guys are popular for a good reason :) I never know half of the obscure authors that some people seem to read.

See, we really do need to focus on getting kids hooked on books.
Hooked on Books! I like the title.

Book Hookers.....maybe more of a late night show with a slightly different audience :)

I could think of so many great podcast names:
Book Hookers

You write it, I ream it
Sober Reads, Drunken Reviews
The hate, it festers (see what I did there?)

I think a lot of people here like the Dresden Files (hence why Mr Butcher has a thread all to himself) and might be looking for similar books. Thought I would recommend a series that I read last year called "Rivers of London" by Ben Aaronovitch. Essentially about a London police officer who becomes involved in investigating crimes involving magic.
I thought they were really fun reads and have a light-hearted tone that reminded me a lot of Jim Butcher's work. There are currently four books in the series:
1. Midnight Riot
2. Moon Over Soho
3. Whispers Under Ground
4. Broken Homes
