Definitely Team Jem. He just seems much more sensitive and caring, but he's not afraid to be blunt about things either.

How about Team Wem? Hah, I really liked both characters and their strong bond. They just complimented each other so well as friends/parabatai. If I had to pick, though, I'd say Team Will...mostly because he's such a complex, interesting character.

Both. They both love Tessa in their own ways, and I'm glad their love stories turned out the way they did.

This love triangle is so well made that it's hard for everyone to choose between Will and Jem. I love them both but if I had to choose one of them I would pick JEM. He's so flawless and kind and sweet and lovely and, c'mon guys, he plays violin!

When reading TID, I could picture Jem so clearly. He was calm, caring and behaved in such a gentleman like manner. His walking cane was so distinctively cool. Then we found out his weakness. His tortured past. Jem remained mentally strong and cared for his parabati so completely. Jem taught Will how to fight, and forgave his friends character flaws time and again. Jem released his only love Tessa, so she could marry his parabati.

I appreciate Will, his impact is being felt throughout the Shadowhunter world (He was Jace, before Jace, he passed the ruby necklace to the Lightwood's via his sister and ensured Jem's family sword 'Cortana' ended up with Emma). I feel bad for him that the curse was fake. But because Will was cruel and unkind in Clockwork Angel (because he thought he had to be) he always had ground to make up against Jem for me.

I always feel that Jems problems far outweighed Will's. His Yin Fen dependency was 'real' (as opposed to fake) as was his imminent death, Will's problem was unknowingly himself, because he cared too much. I understand why people love Will, if he was real - I'd be happy to laugh and sing along with him in a pub somewhere in Wales - but Jem......I'd meet him on Blackfriars Bridge - wearing gold, and holding my violin.

Both! I loved how wonderful and heartbreaking the solution was, that you can't have one without the other. That Tessa's love for both Jem and Will would have lessened if she hadn't loved them equally.

I ship both Wessa and Jessa, but maybe I ship Wessa just a tiny bit more. I love Jem, I just love Will a tiny bit more. Will is my book husband, while Jem is only my third or fourth book boyfriend. Seeeeeeee, I love them both. And I love them both with Tessa :)

idk honestly😂 I loved wessa SO MUCH the first book but then a Jessa romance scene just snuck up on me in CP and then in CP2 I was SOOOO for will but then after he died (i am still so sad about that btw) jem and tessa got back together and then I was super happy😂 probably as a whole i would say Wessa but idek anymore

I was always shipping wessa!! But I like jessa too because I think Tessa deserves to be happy .

this is actual so hard, like throughout the entire series, i was like team jem, then team will, then back again; i kept switching. By the end, i still had no idea, because i loved both the boys so muchhh. i love how Tessa could relate so well to both of them, and they are both so loving. <3

i love jem so much, i do ship him with Tessa just not quite as much as i ship Tessa with Will. they're both good to her and they'll both do anything to make her happy which is exactly what she deserves

TEAM WILL, or more of like team HERONDALE cuz i love all Herondales including Jace. Jem is good too but Will will always the best person ever alive in the shadowhunter history full stop.

I honestly could go for both. Will is my favorite character because he's so sassy and sarcastic, but I really like how Jem is more realistic and down to earth. Tessa could be a perfect match with either person. The only part that bugs me is that Tessa is so oblivious to each boy's feeling towards her and is just a people pleaser :/

Herongraystairs ftw. Tbh, as much as I loved Tessa's relationship with the boys, I loved Jem and Will's relationship a lot more.

Both of them are wonderful people, but I'm definitely on Team Will because of character development. I'm not saying Will is 1000 times a better character than Jem, it's just that the way his character was developed was absolutely perfect and his journey as a person was beautiful, though it was painful to have to watch him suffer. He and Tessa share interests (I mean... they both love books, how could I not?) and have this deep understanding of each other that was reached, in large part, through their love of books. They were basically made for each other. Yes, I can see the appeal of Team Jem, but my ultimate love is for Will.

just out of personal experience, the type of romance will (especially in the first half of the series) has to offer you will ruin you if you go along with it for too long, and ruin him if you cut yourself off soon enough
