LGBT books releasing in 2015

Kim, Etta sounds like a really interesting character! I like Hannah Moskowitz a lot. She has a couple other books coming out in 2014 and 2015 but I'm not sure if any of those have queer themes or not.

Untitled by Zoe Marriott
No title yet (obviously) but the character Jack from this trilogy is a lesbian.

The Five Stages of Andrew Brawley by Shaun David Hutchinson
It's m/m romance and it sounds awesome.

The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey
Sounds like a really cool fantasy. The author added it to the list so I'm positive about the LGBT theme, although I'm not sure which characters are queer or what category they fall into.

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
Reviews seem to indicate that the MC is either gay or bi.

Emeralds & Ashes by Leila Rasheed
Vivian Apple at the End of the World by Katie Coyle
First one has gay male characters. Second one I'm not sure, but based on web searches there are definitely LGBT themes of some sort.

Unbreakable by Robin Talley
Bleeding Earth by Kaitlin Ward
Really excited for both of these. They're lesbian-themed, and the first one also has a genderqueer character!

Unspeakable by Abbie Rushton
Untitled Prequel Eve by Helen Eve
Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
Petticoats & Pistols by Jessica Spotswood
First one looks to be a lesbian romance, second one I'm not sure, but definitely LGBT themes of some sort, the third one probably has at least one gay male character since it's a sequel to another book that does, and the fourth one is a collection of short stories, and some of the authors seem likely to have written in queer themes.

Untitled by Jaclyn Dolamore
The first book in the series has lesbian characters, and I believe the sequel does as well.

Under the Lights by Dahlia Adler
This has a lesbian romance. There are a *lot* of lesbian books scheduled for next year. I think they are actually outnumbering gay male ones.

Promposal by Rhonda Helms
Looks like a dual narrative, and one of the MCs is gay.

Sounds like a really cool fantasy. The author added it to the list so I'm positive about the LGBT theme, although I'm not sure which characters are queer or what category they fall into."
Found out The Girl at Midnight has two gay male side characters.

This is Not a Love Story by Keren David
Not totally sure, but from the summary it sounds like at least one of the male characters is gay or bi.

Me Being Me Is Exactly as Insane as You Being You by Todd Hasak-Lowy
The MC has a gay dad.

Play On by Michelle Smith
The Flywheel by Erin Gough
You and Me and Him by Kris Dinnison
First one has two gay male side characters, second one has a lesbian MC, and the third one looks like a dual narrative with a gay MC.

Half Wild by Sally Green
The character Gabriel from this series is gay, and many people are rooting for him to hook up with the MC, so this series could possibly turn into m/m romance at some point. That's still just speculation though.

Virtuoso by Charlotte Hymes
The Art of Being Normal by Lisa Williamson
First one I'm not sure what category, but since the author added it to the list, there must be queer themes. Second one has an MC who is MTF transgender.

Vanished by E.E. Cooper
Playing a Part by Daria Wilke
Anything Could Happen by Will Walton
First one has a lesbian MC, and the latter two have gay male MCs.

Also for 2015....
The Porcupine of Truth by Bill Konigsberg
I believe this has at least one gay male character.

One reviewer discusses the book's "frequent references to lesbianism . . . between teachers, between older girls, and in the pashes that girls have on one another."

An astonishing literary debut about a young man who, in the search for clues into the disappearance of his mother twelve years earlier, discovers himself in the process.
Recent high school graduate and aspiring artist Walter Stahl lives with his ailing father in the dregs of Las Vegas, their lives overshadowed by the disappearance of Walter's mother, who drove off when he was five and never returned. Although Walter has never so much as seen a photograph of his mother, it doesn't stop him from keeping an eye out for her in the groups of tourists he caters to in his dead-end job along the Strip.
Then Walter meets Chrysto and Acacia, a brother and sister working as living statues at the Venetian Hotel, and his world cracks open. Spending less time caring for his father, and more time riding on the backs of Vespas and drawing, Walter finds life has more to offer than he could have imagined. But as his feelings for Chrysto deepen, and as clues behind his mother's disappearance start to reveal themselves, Walter is forced to face the truth about himself and his family history.
Threading through this coming-of-age story are beautiful and heart-wrenching graphic illustrations, depicting how Walter's mother Emily, a Vietnamese-born accordion player, abandoned her family to chase a vision of Liberace across the country; and how Walter's father went searching for her amongst the gondolas of the Venetian Hotel.
In Still Life Las Vegas, the magical collides with the mundane; memory, sexual awakening and familial ties all lead to a place where everything is illuminated, and nothing is real.

Masquerade by Laura Lam
Rusty Summer by Mary McKinley

Honey Girl by Lisa Freeman
Girl at the Bottom of the Sea by Michelle Tea
First one is m/m fantasy, and the second two have lesbian/bi MCs.
And two middle grade novels, if any members of the group are looking for LGBT books for kids in junior high....
The Truth About Twinkie Pie by Kat Yeh
We Are All Made of Molecules by Susin Nielsen
First book has a character coming out, second book has an MC with a gay dad.

Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story
, yay!"
So excited!!!

A couple reviewers suggest that the characters in this book act (and speak) much older than their ages, so younger readers may want to bear that in mind.
