Thanks,

They Without Morals
Who dares disturb those who sleep in deep slumber?
Deriving us from our caskets and tombs
Whoever you are it is but a wonder
And onto you I curse and cast doom
You have ruined our peace and tainted our dirt
Do you have not any shame?
For this I summon onto you the deadliest hurt
And inflict blasphemy to scorn your name
Now let’s see you get into heaven
Knowing you’ve angered those already there
I plague you with the deadly sins of seven
Until your distraught and can no longer bare
A cemetery is a confined place for the dead
You did not come to pay your respects
For every step in which your feet have tread
You shall feel the mortifying effects
Declaration of Decadence
We hold no truths here and nothing is evident
No soul is treated equal this is no sacrament
Those that are here rot, they are not endowed by their creator
They are alienable, have no rights and the devil is their savior
There is no life without death, liberty without tyranny
And the pursuit of happiness here is just irony
You need no consent cause here your just a slave
Your body on earth decaying in it’s grave
Let this stand as your only rights given
You don’t deserve any since your no longer living
This goes way beyond any sacred document
Consider it to be your final event
When you lived you went by independence
Here you believe in the Declaration of Decadence
Summoners of the Unholy
Off in the distance chants can be heard
Conjuring up beings from the written word
From bats to demons to grotesque monsters
They are the real things, far from impostors
They speak in the form of the ancient tongue
Casting their words deep from the lungs
It’s hard to understand what’s being said
Unless you understand the Tibetan Book of the Dead
This is the text in which the strange spells derive
The innocent better run if they wish to stay alive
Soon a whole army of terror will be present
Things are about to be vile instead of pleasant
Is there anyone that dares to act boldly?
And put a stop to the summoners of the unholy

-Eric

I am currently working on my fifth book, The Macabre Masterpiece: Repressed Carnage, a sequel to my first book. The book will contain 60 poems and there will be 12 poems in each chapter of a creepy place or person. I was recently asked what made me want to write a sequel and why now and the answer two reasons. One is I wanted to go back to my roots and my two writing passions of horror and poetry. I feel horror is at an all-time high right now, people enjoy it and I feel I can really bring a presence to it. Also seeing as poetry is not so popular and horror is I felt readers could use another book of horror poetry to make them appreciate poetry. My second main reason is more personal which is I want this book to help my first book.
As some may know, I went with a bad company to publish my first book and while I got out of it, I never got the royalties I deserved and I never got the book the recognition it truly deserved. By the time I marketed the book, I had already wrote books to and three. So in a lot of ways I want this new book to resurrect the first one and that they can both share the horror spotlight so to speak.
There are three main parts to Repressed Carnage that the first book doesn't have. This book has more detailed gore and talks about real horrors that actually exist in the world to go along with the representations and personifications that we know as horror. The chapters are all of places rather than levels of horror. I thought it'd be fun to make creepy places such as the morgue, cemetery and asylum as chapters. Finally, there are ten more poems in this book than the original because well I got carried away and just kept spinning out creepy poems, no issue there I suppose.
So that's pretty much the next book in a nutshell, I will keep this thread updated with any news on the progression of the book. So stay tuned to the latest.

Seeing as adult coloring books are big right now I feel like it'd be a good marketing tool toward the book and a fun little extra to include during the promotion of the book.

The Macabre Masterpiece will be free and A Bloody Bloody Mess in the Wild Wild West will be $0.99.
Both make for great reads for the season so be sure to pick up a copy of each when the promos begin!

I just finished putting together my latest book, The Macabre Masterpiece; Repressed Carnage. I of course still need to place, edit and format some final touches to it but for the most part it's complete. After I go over it I will likely have others go over it to beta read it to look for any discrepancies and errors. Also I will make sure it's properly fit and formatted. After that I will look for some reviews before it's release in a few months.
Looking forward to completing the book for all of you to read.

So far the book has been completed, I just need to have someone run through it for a quick edit, waiting on my cover and yeah it's going along nicely.

So anyone interested in reading the book please let me know by leaving your e-mail address in a comment or message me on here and I'll send you a PDF copy.

I'm about finished my latest book, The Macabre Masterpiece; Repressed Carnage. I just had the cover for it finished and it will be up sometime soon. A collection of sixty poems within 5 chapters, each chapter representing a creepy place within horror. I've edited and formatted as much one person can edit their own work until they have to stop to let someone else look over it lol. I will likely have others go over it to beta read it to look for any discrepancies and errors. I am currently looking for people to read it to get some early reviews before it's release in a few months. If you're interested in a pre-release copy please let me know and I will send you a copy.

It wasn't always about death
In the valleys up on the hill
But ever since that first kill
Many there have taken their last breath
It started out as a carnival
They moved on but left a clown behind
Recession hit, the town declined
But bodies started piling at the hospital
The valley became a Lover's Lane
Except people were being mutilated
A psycho had become infatuated
But nobody knew who was to blame
Perhaps it was the mechanic
Who's wife went missing
And he saw her kissing
Another man and he couldn't stand it
Or maybe it was the milkman
Who began delivering sour milk
Chunky no longer thin like silk
Perhaps it was he with the diabolical plan
Thirty murders took place here
So the town gave it a new name
He was never caught, quite a shame
This notion continued to cause fear
Who did it and why did they kill?
No one truly knows
Years have passed but the wonder grows
For the horror on Homicide Hill

Death hides because it has to
But not everyone's willing to accept
So it takes on many faces
That way it's identity is unknown
But illusion doesn't work on all
Some people see through the facade
It's either their time or they're crazy
They see the anguished expressions
And feel the relenting dark presence
As death approaches they know
While the rest of the world carries on
But death will take regardless
Whether it's seen or not
No exceptions
Those who see beneath its hidden veil
Only prolong the inevitable

The Macabre Masterpiece: Poems of Horror and Gore:
It was the first book I ever wrote. After not accomplishing the first 4 goals of being more social, learning how to drive, getting a girlfriend, and finding a job, the 5th one, write a book didn't seem as crazy of an idea as I originally thought.
The Macabre Masterpiece: Repressed Carnage:
My 4th book. I wanted to write a sequel to The Macabre Masterpiece which by then was a two-time #1 most downloaded book for Contemporary poetry and I wanted to make it a bit more chilling than the original.
The Macabre Masterpiece: Vile Humanity:
After my house caught fire my mother and I were living at a Best Western. I had no access to any of my files so I couldn't promote my books but I still had a phone and Google Docs so I decided not to sit around and moap but to write a book, a book that I had already written twice and thus Vile Humanity was mostly written on my phone in a motel room.

Eternal Darkness
During a malicious storm
In a castle up on the mountains
Where the moon overlooks the moors
A cataclysmic event took place
Altering the landscape forever
It’s said that there was a power surge
And the spectrum of the sky was drained
Now instead of blue and black
The sky is a coal covered abyss
And it shall be like this forever
No light except made artificially
Passerby’s will become lost
If they ever make it out at all
Wandering aimlessly
Hearing echoes of howling
Who knows what’s on the horizon
Or what’s left to expect
But one thing is evidently clear
Darkness is now eternal

When your eyes become beams
like bloodshot saucer gleams
When nothing is what it seems
Because your dreams are constant screams
When your in and out of sleep
and your eyes feel heavily steep
And what scares you seems to creep
Lurking in your mind dark and deep
When the truth is all too eerie
And you feel so weak and weary
Eyes are open and you see clearly
But your still asleep, the nightmare theory
In the back of the mind
there lies a switch
That is turned on by you
You will see the unimaginable
It will scare you out of your skin
It will traumatize you into a coma
Shatter your existence into oblivion
Shock you, pain you, hurt you
It is inevitable
Scares leave internal scars
You create the nightmares you see

As I sat at my kitchen table I had about 15 to 20 horror poems. I knew it was going to be a book of horror poems so it needed a gripping and catching title. Calling it The Elaborate Horror Collection didn't seem original, practical or even right for me to do so I broke down each word and found another word to replace it. Horror became Macabre, Elaborate became Masterpiece and I dropped collection and with the the longer Poems of Horror and Gore.

The book got a second chance and new lease on life and I was happy. I gave it a new cover, a cover I actually had input on unlike the first one and I could promote it without being asked to spend a ton of money. Will I ever see the money and potential the book could have made me in those first 3 years? No, but I can proudly say that the book has definitely come out of the murky dark waters that was the vanity press and has enjoyed some wonderful success.

Many of horror's most-wanted and deadly creatures run wild here, waiting in anticipation of their next victims.
