Megan (endlesstbr) I'm hoping to get through some diverse topics and cover a lot of different genres. I may need your help with some of the classics - I want to read them, but sometimes they are so tedious! I'm so excited to share my reading adventures with everybody.

That's what buddy reads are for! If you are reading a classic you think you might need help to get motivated to read or you want to discuss put a request in the Buddy Reads folder. There are a lot of us wanting to read more classics.

Alison G. (agriff22) | 1190 comments good luck with Les Mis!! I just finished it. Fyi... you can skip the chapters about the Paris srwer system at the end. You don't need that to follow the story line :)

message 7: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Lozada | 67 comments I'm always having a hard time reading classics. Some of the books in that genre that I have read so far are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Sajid Rabby (rabbyx7xafc) | 63 comments I always wanted to read Les Miserables but whenever I look at the size of the book, i get this certain urge of running away in the opposite direction!

Allison | 4 comments Good luck Megan! I agree some of the classics are a bit tough to get through. Pride and Prejudice is on my list this year. I've never read it- but like the movie so much I figure I should!

message 10: by Amy (new)

Amy | 3 comments Enjoy Anna Karenina! I've read it twice and both times I found it impossible to put down.

This has been on my to-read list for a long time, and I just saw the movie starring Keira Knightley. Have you seen it? Has some bizarre moments but it was such a gorgeous film!

message 12: by Megan (new)

Megan (endlesstbr) Since I last updated, I have finished:
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth

That makes 3!

message 13: by Megan (new)

Megan (endlesstbr) And I just watched the film "The Jane Austen Book Club" and it inspired me to pick up one of those classics I listed as well as add the rest of Austen's novels to my to-read list for this year. =) I'll let you know how it goes.

Cassandra | 5832 comments Megan, I have a ton of classics on my TBR shelf, so I agree that setting up a buddy read might be a great idea. I will definitely join in if it's one I haven't read before!

Megan (endlesstbr) I'm going to shift my focus to my corner, in order to keep all of my challenges in the same place.

Here is the link: My Corner
