Synopsis - What are "The Vampire Noctuaries"?
Imagine "Natural Born Killers" meets "The Catcher in the Rye", starring Fairuza Balk from "The Craft".
"The Vampire Noctuaries" is a duology of vampire novels that ignores all the cliches of modern day vampire books. There are no warring vampire clans. There are no "Chosen Ones" destined to change the world. There are no love triangles. No werewolves. No quests to "cure" vampirism. No "elder" vampires that are the oldest and most powerful vampires in the world. No vampire hunters. No daywalkers. No vampires going to school or getting pregnant.
In fact, "The Vampire Noctuaries" was begun in 1991. That's before "True Blood" and before "The Vampire Diaries". This series started before "Twilight" and before "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". None of the cliches and trends exist in "The Vampire Noctuaries" because "The Vampire Noctuaries" were created decades before any trends were invented.
"The Vampire Noctuaries" tells a dark and painful myth of love and loss and bereavement. The epic 900-page, 294,000-word story is set in a dark, faeriepunk version of the modern-day underground nightclub scene. With a bit of surreal embellishment to enrich the saga, this novel was inspired by the parties, the places, the people and the atmosphere encompassing the author's exposure to several years of the gothic/industrial counterculture.
The tale is focused upon dreary chasms of the human condition and tells the journey of a young male vampire and his relationship with a teenage mortal girl, Helle. Thinking he is only a spirit that communicates with her in dreams and Ouija rituals, Helle slowly comes to discover that he is very real and will change everything in her life forever. Later, the two will discover they themselves have merely been pawns in a game much larger and more sinister than they could have imagined.

I have been trying to download this since I received it and it won't let me open the file. Could you resend it to me in each format to see if I can get it to work?
