Starting tonight so I can start Incarnate ON SUNDAY AND NOT BEFORE.

I needed a good laugh too! That was fun!

I'm 22% in. And I really don't want to put this down but must sleep!

(view spoiler)[I haven't figured out why people become enraged when they see Addison. I gather they need to look into his eyes? Here go my wild theories. Is he the son of a demon??

And that scene with the marionnette really freaked me out! I got the horror goosebumps and started seeing things out of the corner of my eyes... Yikes!

Gwyneth seems like an interesting odd character. Haven't figured her out yet. (hide spoiler)]

Koontz is a master storyteller! Wow!

It is tempting, but I just can't afford it at the moment. I have it on hold at the library, but it could be a long time before I get it!

I don't know how far I am - probably 10-15% - but I love this story! I love Addison. I can't wait to see where this goes.

My son got me this one for Xmas! First actual book I've received in years and years. I normally just get B&N gift cards so it was nice to get to unwrap a real present. Of course, with my son's sense of humor, he wrapped the entire unopened Amazon box it came in. Bwahahahaaa..!

Anyway, the point is, I may have waited before buying too if I hadn't received it as a gift. :)

You and David can read this later when you get a copy!

I'm 46% in. Chapter 39 (view spoiler)[Ohmygosh, this book is crazy good! The fogs and clears are freaking me out!

And Gwyneth seems like Addison's polar opposite but made for each other. I love their relationship so far.

And I love how we get a chapter of current and then a chapter of Addison's back story. Father's murder was heartbreaking.

And somehow everything is connected. I can't wait to see how Koontz brings it all together! (hide spoiler)]

Finished! Holy moly! Another brilliant Dean Koontz novel!!

(view spoiler)[Addison and Gwyneth ARE the same! I didn't see that coming!! Love how it all makes sense now with the animals, being Innocents, have no problem being with the them.

So, people didn't fear Addison, they feared themselves. Wow, how does Dean Koontz come up with these ideas?

21% in, and not sure about it yet. I really like the concept, but I feel like it's very slow and rambly so far. I'm hoping it's going to ramp up as I get further in!

Ohmygosh, Zoe, that's exactly what I guessed! I promise, it's worth it!

I gave this up for now. I've been listening at night, and I tend to fall asleep. That whole thing with the marionette really creeped me out, and then when I got to (view spoiler)[the clouds talking about war and bad, bad things (hide spoiler)]I had to just put it away. I may try and get the book from the library. But listening at night? No thanks. Too scary.

I was really creeped out by that part too! I think I read the majority of this book during broad daylight!

I think the marionette was as bad as it got for "scary". And Addison and Gwyneth... Oh my... You will love their story.

50% in - I'm liking it a lot better now that I'm more used to the writing style. I want to know how all of these different things relate to each other! There's still half the book left, but it still doesn't seem like there's enough room to wrap it all up. (view spoiler)[And what's with the marionette? Maybe it's Gwyneth from the future? Is Addison's father actually Addison from the future? It's a stretch, but it would be interesting. (hide spoiler)]

Great theories, Zoe! I had some doozies going on in my mind too! Believe it or not, all is answered by the end.

Done! You were right - it did all wrap up in the end! I wasn't sure he could manage it.

I have a question about a plot point. I don't think it is really a spolier since it seemed inevitable to happen. How did Moriah wake up?!? It is never explained except with an offhand, "miracle" comment.
