Do you like Fallen? I'm not sure if read it or not. I've saw so many reviews both pos..."
I didn't like Fallen that much. just annoying.

Papertowns is amazing! like all his books you just love all the characters

I decided to branch out and try a new area of YA lit, it's been pretty good so far.

Next to my elbow is

I have already read it, and believe me it was not easy. There are so many references as to contemporaries of Dante Alligheri, as well as to classical myths and folk tales that if you don't know them you might lose the reasons of why they are, where they are. Also, some of the verses in the parts of Purgatorio and Paradiso are quite tricky. The Divine Comedy is considered as the compendium of Medieval knowledge, because it is built on so many concepts and ideas of its age, which is why is so important to Universal Literature.
I think Dante is the equivalent in Italian for Shakespeare, even though Dante never wrote a play, and Shakespeare never wrote a poem as long as Dante. Italian is a beautiful language and Dante is the best Italian writer, so you shouldn't disregard him as "mainstream literature" or "easy reading". It is one of the major works in Literature.
Hope you can appreaciate it and enjoy it.
