Leaving the World discussion

I am so into Douglas Kennedy books. I am reading everyone I can get my hands on. I have gotten a lot more particular in my older age about novels. I love the way he totally gets into his female main characters. He als does great with the male point of view. He just draws you right into the story and it has twists and turns which are interesting. I am so happy to have discovered this author who offers so many books to keep me reading but they are all quality.

I was just looking at the reviews for the book pictured above and realized it seems that people either loved it or hated it. Very high, or very low.
I wonder why this is.
