Which is ironic because it's not one of theirs. Neither is Lost Girl which I also enjoy for the most part (if you don't take it too seriously).

I like both Haven and Warehouse 13, but the latter is ending this year.

As far as Continuum: It's had some slow parts but overall I like it, and will be watching season 3 when it comes out.

I found it amusing when Eureka and Warehouse 13 did crossover episodes, and it looked like Alphas was set in the same world as well.

So Continuum season 2 is up on Netflix now? Good times, I'll have to check it out.

That world is called Vancouver...

Kev (sporadicreviews) | 667 comments I love Continuum. It's one of my favorites right now.

I've seen some internet stuff suggesting Continuum and Almost Human could be set in the same world. I'm sure there's fanfic already crossing them over!

One of the things I like about Continuum is that you really have no idea who to root for. Who are the good guys, who are the bad guys? Liber8 has the right goal, but the wrong methods. Keira is the "hero" of the show, but she seems to be bringing about her own future. And just who the heck are the Freelancers, and what are /their/ goals?

Anyone curious about Continuum should definitely give it a try. It's worth it.

There's also a great Continuum podcast, called Liber8 with Mike and Dave. They've done a discussion for every episode, as well as interviews with cast and crew, and speculation episodes.

Thanks so much for mentioning that podcast, I've been trying to remember the name of it for weeks

Kev (sporadicreviews) | 667 comments Happy to! (always happy to promote good podcasts, which I why I listen to S&L too!)

Darren I loved the first season. The second was alright, but I wasn't so fond of how at least two characters (Kiera and Dillon)... no longer seemed in character.

Kev (sporadicreviews) | 667 comments I can totally see that point of view. I'd hope there was some explanation in the writing room of why that was, but for some reason it just never made it to screen.

Alex (eveningelevenses) | 27 comments It's been a while since I watched Continuum, but by the end of season 2 I was glad I was done. On one hand, I really wanted to like the show, and it definitely grabbed me in the beginning, but eventually I got tired of what the characters were doing and how they were and were not evolving (too generous a word I think).
That said I still have no objection to Kiera's lack of wardrobe beyond her suit.
