Yes inded. It's a bit to "sweet" for my taste.
I prefer the Fredric March-version (1931)

S Everyone seems to agree with you. The Freudian dream sequence in the '41 version where Tracy imagines Ingrid Bergman and Lana Turner as horses is a jaw-dropper, though.

Ron Gilmette Kind of slow. It was the first version of that movie I'd seen. I'd seen a few of the variations,( Son of Doctor Jekyll, Daughter of Doctor Jekyll, and Abbot and Costello Meet Doctor Jekyll). The Spencer Tracy version inspired me to read the book.
