Genghis question

Have just finished reading the Genghis series and started on the Rome set. Wish I'd discovered these historical novels earlier, they're great and easy to read.
Can anyone recommend a similar author?

Ben Kane, Bernard Cornwell & Simon Scarrrow these are great authors

Try Jack Whyte. I am a huge fan of his Camaloud series that begins with The Skystone.

Sally......don't forget Conn Iggulden's Wars of the Roses series. I have really enjoyed the first two and I am waiting for the third book to come out.
