Hate is a strong word
But love is stronger.
It gets tossed around
And left in yonder.
When people lie
When little girls cry
When partners die
And white doves fly.
It kills us from the inside out
The way we love, it makes us shout.
You shouted from the rooftop high
"My girl, my love. I must say goodbye."
The only words that made me stop
I fell to the ground, let my body drop.
You grasped my heart
In the palm of your hand.
You left me alone
I can hardly stand.
The pain is too much
I must be drowning.
You appeared in a dream
So terribly frightening.
You said you still loved me
And wanted me back.
I came into your arms
And my world went black.
You lied and you cheated
Now I'm dead inside; defeated.
You never loved me
And once more this time,
My beating heart is forever mine.

time keeps ticking on
half of these answers are wrong
welcoming failure
the sickness is spreading
given entry to my brain
I'm coated with idiocy
and it's causing me pain
blank mind, blank page
rational schemes trapped in a cage
messy writing, crumpled sheets
no wheels are turning, lights fade
my brain is on overload
not going down this road
no one to turn to
I just need a breakthrough
hear me, ISU
screaming, I will rue
