What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm looking for the title of a novel set in Cornwall in flashbacks and Scotland in the present. There are four friends, two girls (one is an artist) and two boys (one called David) and the mother of one of the girls is called Emma and has a very interesting garden. It's about the four friends growing up, then apart but coming back together in a snowbound house/ cabin in Scotland when one of the boys is dying. It may have been published in 2011/12 but not to sure about that. I really can't remember anymore than that but would really appreciate any help with possible titles. Thanks for helping!

Hi, I've had a look at the list and none of those listed appear to be the one I am looking for. I do remember that it is set in the 20th/ early 21st century. Thanks for helping though.
