The Darkened Hill

Walking down the road in the silence of the night
When I happen to stop and stare at the light
The light at the top of a darkened hill
There stood a house that gave me a chill
My knees they shudder with fear, no doubt
My feet stopped moving when I heard a shout
I turned around and seen such a sight
looked it straight in the eyes afraid it might bite
The wolf, it growled as I started to run
But it caught up to me, I thought I was done
I closed my eyes shaking with fear
In hopes that he wouldn't come near
I could feel his presence as he circled around
With his footsteps you could hear no sound
His heavy breathing would not drown
My eyes they opened with tears falling down
The wolf was panting scared as can be
I was terribly confused for he was the adversary
I could tell he wasn't as I thought
To tell you the truth he was more distraught
He lowered his head so I could see
He wasn't the wolf I thought him to be
I put my red hood on and went on my way
To grandma's house I sought out to play

Glass Eyes

In the night we stand
We stare as we look through glass eyes
Souls never withstand the heartless bodies
But the curse of the darkness will take us in
Feeding off our life force
Stealing our energy
Only in the light will our true nature resurface
Our bodies move with the strings
We are free, but with this freedom
Comes heartbreak
We shall not love them
The humans, the blessed humans
Our curse will not be broken
For we were made for your enjoyment
A human will not come to love our lifeless bodies
They feel nothing but mockery
This curse is forever and unending
As dolls we shall never move on our own

Wandering around the world

Following a white rabbit that no one else sees

Talking to a caterpillar

Asking Why, Who, and What

Finding yourself lost in a place with unreadable signs

Sitting down thinking….dreaming or not this is unbelievable

When a cat comes floating down sitting on a tree

His smile is remarkably sharp for a cat to be

He is sly, that cat, should I believe him or not

I guess I have no choice

The flower talk and I have some tea

With figures of my imagination

The Mad Hatter is crazy

The March Hare is unstable

I don’t think their are any normal things here

A drunken mouse come out of the pot

I think I’m losing my mind….

What next do I occur…A red queen that is

A court full of cards

Spades, Diamonds, Hearts, and Clubs

OFF WITH HER HEAD!

My Mechanical Mind.

When you take apart the mechanical mind
you can only see what makes it work
to be there on time is what you aim to do
it seems to me that you are always late
the clock keeps running and your body stays here
the midnight chime might keep you alert but
its not always going to be there.
Out of time, out of luck, out of strength
that's what is ticking around the clock
clock or mind?
it's all the same
tick tick tick tickkk
its a crime to tell me what to do, its a crime to pick yourself up
and figure it out.
or is the crime nothing but the clock waiting to tick one more time
pick yourself up and tell me what to do
quit waiting for the chime to be your enforcing power
its your mind. your time. your luck. your strength

My Head

I can't believe the thoughts in my head
they are all telling me to shut down
beginning anew and breaking the process
it's not going to end
Thinking about the hard times
it doesn't stop just there
praying it doesn't happen too fast
or that you are going to leave too soon
coming home late
asking me questions I don't know the answer to
my hope just shatters in the air
i sit here waiting until my heart interferes
the problem isn't within
it's not too clear
telling myself listen to the pounding in your chest
instead of the nonsense upstairs
write them down on the surface
don't spread them throughout your temple
being brought down,
sunken to the bottom of the ocean-less pit that is your body.
Take the chance to swim back up
the light is calling you
tracking your very existence
checking your pulse
breathing in and out
open your eyes
look at the world in a different perspective
start again.

Birds don't even fly that high
Choke on your words, and don't say it again
I'll be here to make amends
Making people live and watching people die
I haven't gone through the times I've tried
Seeing lovers fight and hate
I hide my eyes, trying to relate
Fearing the pain in my heart
I just can't figure out where to start
That's when I smile and walk away
To fear one's hate is just funny in a way.

I told him to go left but he decided to turn right
The world is imperect it makes me want to cry
I turn circles in the grass just to make sense of this sympathetic earth
I fight myself everyday because only one thought goes through my mind
There isn't much to say about life and death
You live to die
And die to live
So feel free to spend your life dying
I've spent my whole life comparing myself to others
My other lives were spent no to trust
We take our time looking at one another
But that only makes you want to fight
To cause war and pain, not wanting to be free
That's not the only thing in this life
Take your time and look at yourself in the mirror
You are beautiful and it's not going to change
Your heart is pure and not to be tormented with
I will do the same
Just to hold myself up is what I need to do
I will get through this nightmare....

Claustrophobic

I always feel locked up
The air is closing in and my chest just tightens
Wishing I could breath in that fresh air just once
Fighting off the terrors I like to call thoughts
Violently grasping to the last bit of energy I have left
I scrabble around trying to find a way out
Panicking to see the light of day

Live This Life

I don't want to live in this world
if God can take my soul
I'll gladly give him this pretty penny I picked up from the ground
I may look happy with this fake smile
it's only painted on with a golden brush
so it looks like its pure as the day I was born
I can't fight anymore there isn't much left
I feel so drained from listening to all the lies
So sore from the hurt you made me feel
this time around I just want to wait it out
not feeling anything at all
no happiness that we use to believe in
no sadness that we went through over and over again
spending as much time writing this as I ever will spend
i can't just stare at the people around me and feel something more.

A Roman Soldiers Worry

I march with the few and the proud
Staring down the enemy with my own two eyes
My horse is my only friend
Holding up my sword and shield
ordering the men to their demise
A stranger with rags and a sad face
He asks me if he could follow
....I worried
and let it be.
Not following orders like I need to I let him
He will be my lover and friend
My past life will not let me down.
Onward and fight my soldiers
In gold and red I fight
On the battlefield I command
and In death I will love the only thing I let follow.

I would share every four leaf clover just to make you mine
You eyes will never hold onto the truth for even one second

Till our hearts break away to the edge of the sea of death

Death wont take you away until I reach that point of no return
Headaches and sorrow will not torture my ever dying soul until I see your face
Grab my hand and pull me through to the end of the world
I will drag my body to the start of a new earth, only with you I will stand.

Someday I will deem myself beautiful enough to own your heart
My hurt and depressed mind wont stop for a minute
The clock will keep turning until the chime of the apocalyse

The only thing wrong with that

Some just curse the skies
and bow their heads to pray
Not knowing the difference

You know when to stop those cries of hatred,
but take hurtful words to heart
You thoughts aren't clear of what
you are trying to prove
They don't tell you what to do
just spit out what you mean

Life isn't always easy so take this
opportunity and let your soul do the talking

How do you cope?
How do I survive?
How do people cut words into their arms,
