Yay Cat & Bones!

I love this series! Great timing to read them with the final book being released soon!

I can't wait. I wish I had time to reread the other ones. :)

I know, I was thinking the same thing. I hate picking up a series book so long after reading the last one.

The novella is up for sale for 1.99.
I might reread that one, just to remind myself of the major plot development.
no more cat and bones ... that will be rough.

I'm having the same problem with . I need to read the first two again. It doesn't hurt that Divergent will be at the movies soon.

How many chapters/day?

I won't know how many chapters are in the book until I have it on my Kindle :) I looked on Amazon and it doesn't have a 'look inside.'

I will be listening to this one.

I think most of her other books we did 7 or 8 a day, so it will probably be around that.

37 chapters plus the prologue and epilogue...so do we want to do 7 or 8 a day?

I know I am bad at following rules so just forgive me.
I knew this being the last book that we would see all or majority of the characters come back. I'm ok with the closure. WTH! Don has been one of those characters that I have been up and down about. We knew he was hiding things but he really was/is an A$$. I can't believe he would take this secret to the grave and beyond. I love Marie Laveau! She is kick-ass in a totally creepy but cool way. Madigan was slime from the beginning. We knew he was up to something but now we what he and Don were hiding. It is going to be explosive.

I agree Leigh. Don is a horrible person. I've got to say though, even though I didn't see it coming, it really isn't a huge surprise.

I really wish I would have had time to re-read the rest of the series. There are so many things mentioned that I had forgotten about. And...Ian still needs his own book. This might be the last NH book, but he should still get his!

I so agree on Ian. I would love to see the woman that could bring him to his knees. Wait Cat did but she was always meant for Bones.

I just started 9. Wednesdays are usually too busy for me to get much reading done do I'm skipping ahead a bit. I'm hoping to get through 12 before I have to work.

I stopped on ch 17. I am not really happy about something's that happen. Vlad is the man! He is one of my favorite characters.

I love Vlad! I'm and definitely going to be rereading his books before the third one comes out since there are only two of them.

I would be up for that. Are we going to read ?

My thoughts on that...(view spoiler)[Didn't he fake his death once before? I'm guessing that's what he is doing and it is all planned. Why else would he have brought Denise in with him? I'm surprised Cat hasn't thought of that, at least as a possibility.

I know I will read more later since we are "snowed" in. Can you believe Louisiana is snowed in? Granted our snowed in and y'all snowed in is two totally different things. We use a spoon to move the snow/ice and y'all have to use front end loaders.

Lol, you would freeze if you ever came up here! We actually don't have any snow at the moment. It was actually nice enough over the weekend to melt it all. However, the temp right now is -11. Sunday it was 30. It's really sad that it actually felt 'warm'!

Tonight is going to be 19 degrees but Saturday it will be 70. I prefer the 70 degree weather.

Yes, how about keep him and Don together. I am not happy with Don's part in this. He took part in the experiments then he covered up even after his death.

OMG! There are a lot of WTH moments in this book. Frost defiantly ended with a bang.

Both Cress and Ignite Me come out the 4th.

I'm up for either one. I joined a group that is re-reading DOSAB series. Laini Taylor is suppose to be involved in some Q&A's. I love that series!

I totally agree. I enjoyed the series and I am glad she didn't extend it without reason. (view spoiler)[Katie was such a twist in this story. Cat having a child without her knowledge. How does that happen? Oh wait while she was sleeping her Uncle Don had Madigan extract her eggs. Evil bastards! Then Don decided she proved herself and fired Madigan but that didn't stop Madigan from creating Katie. Cat was the first half that lived. Katie had to top her by being vampire, ghoul and human. What a mix? She is such a little killing machine much like Cat. The kicker is Tate potential father. Love it! Tate always wanted Cat now he really has a reason to be close to her. How will they keep her existence secret? (hide spoiler)]
