Abhorsen discussion

i don't know anybody else who've read the Old Kingdom series, but it would be nice to see what other people think about it. Personally I love the series and i'm excited about Clariel.

I read them. What is Clariel? Is there going to be a new book in the series?

I loved this series. One of those books that i re-read when i get bored! Really Annoyed that i can't get them on my kindle :(

I looked it up. It's a prequel set centuries before the other books, and it's supposed to come out in September of this year.

Thanks for posting this. It's been years since I've read the series, and I've been thinking about re-reading the books for a while (I've completely forgotten the story!).

Clariel is actually about Chlorr of the Mask (if you can remember her) before she went bad....Oh I hope Mogget's in it.

I read this series, and so did a friend. I really loved it! I suspect Mogget (Yrael, whatever) will be in it, though. It's not Old Kingdom without Mogget.

Re-read Abhorsen a while ago and I'm sure Mogget mentions Chlorr as if he knew her. It should be interesting to read about a character who becomes a villain in the end. Is there hope for her yet?

I read it a few years ago. The following books are even better than the first so stick it through- its worth it

I always thought that this would have been the next big book trilogy to make it to the big screen. Would love to see the characters come back to life.

I loved Sabriel and Lirael, this one was the weakest for me, but I still enjoyed it.

I read them in high school, through a friend. I loved them, and my friend loves them more than I do. I have been thinking about re-reading them at some point. :) I barely remember them its been so long.

I loved these books, so stoked to hear a new book is coming out! I hope Mogget is in the prequel too. He's so sassy.

I loved the first book in the series. The others I thought were okay, but I didn't love them. I am excited for Clariel though. It sounds really interesting.
