ETA - would prefer not to be captain since I am already captain on one challenge and possible adding a second one soon.

Roll is on Friday, except the first roll which is on a Sunday?
Book info and reviews have to be posted by all members of the team by Friday before the captain can roll again, correct?

As far as being a captain, sometimes my schedule is squirrely around here with my kiddo's hockey games so would prefer to be a co-captain rather than taking on the whole captaincy on my own.
I'm in for this round. I did SSS last time and want to be able to relax a little more this time around :)

:)
Me too - well said - I felt stressed looking for books to fit the challenge + having to complete them on time, write the review, etc.

Are books hard to find for challenges? I perused the categories and it didn't seem so terrifying, but of course I haven't had to choose yet...

Becca not if you find challenges in genres you like if they are genre specific.
This one isn't bad if you like series since unless a zero or one is in the space you land you have to read a book that's part of a series OR read the alternate posted that week which I did about 1/2 the time last challenge.
Plus when part of a team challenge I always found my teammates very helpful when I needed assistance finding the right book.

I do reviews for several sites and sometimes when I get a book I realize it's part of a series. I don't have much choice but to read it and review it since there are time constraints. I tend to go with the flow and don't mind too much reading out of order if I really have to.

I find some authors give enough background even if it is a series that I can read a later book and still have a feel for what's going on. Of course, it's not perfect but it is what it is.
I don't only get ARC's that are out of order but books that are newly published too.

Who do you review for? I review for RomanceJunkies.com and Romancing-the-Book.com.
Plus for two years I was a Fool's Gold Cheerleader for Susan Mallery.

That's great - I'm not a blogger.
I like mainly romance genre + mysteries too.

I recently read the first three books by Sandy James in the Alliance of the Amazon series. Urban fantasy with some paranormal. Out of my comfort zone but asked by the author to review so I did. Better than I expected. She's now going to send me book 4 and also sent me another series - this time historical romance set in the West. Looking forward to reading that as well.
