It depends on who you are but amazingly brilliant writing.

I wouldn't say depressing exactly....because I have been recommending this book to everyone...so if it was depressing for no reason i would not be raving about it. Is there a sad ending? Yes, which I find refreshing..especially a book for young teens...this book is so beautiful. I could have finished it in a weekend...but could not bring myself to do it...knowing I would be bummed out that the journey ends...so I stretched it out for as long as I could....looking forward to reading another one from this author.

I really liked this book, but it was kind of depressing at the end.

This book is sad but it really opens up your eyes. The book also shows hope, which is very important to me! ;)
