We have swivel chairs in the office. They're not top-of-the-line but are more expensive than any office chair I've bought for use at home. My feet don't reach the floor when I sit. If I adjusted my chair lower, typing would be less comfortable because of the height of my work surface.
So I often end up sitting with one foot under my opposite thigh. Do any of you sit in a certain way at work? I'm a little self-conscious about the way I sit—I know it's not the most professional look. But it's what I find comfortable/natural.
Oh man, I am usually slouched down in my chair, which is adjusted as low as it goes to begin with (I also tend to have problems with feet touching floor), so it is totally unprofessional looking. I occasionally sit like you do M., but my foot falls asleep quite quickly, so I never last that way long. What an interesting question!
