D.D. Chant (DDChant) | 7663 comments The ball's in your court, Peppermint P.!

message 209: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments One of our many Davids has been known to poop in a thread.

And no david, you WILL NEVER LIVE IT DOWN.

But we still love you.

From a distance.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments All I will say is the "O" and the "P" keys are very close together on a qwerty keyboard, and when typed "popped" can very easily make the poster infamous...

Shona (shonalee) | 4 comments Hi my name is Shona and have just found out about this site and think it sounds brilliant! I'm forever reading and I guess this is a great way to keep track of what I have and haven't read.
So I'm very new and being very nosey when I stumbled upon this group thing. Can't wait to take a look around and see what is going on in here.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Hi Shona, welcome the the group of tall tales :~)

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Someone really ought to do some Alternative Group Rules:

1. Don't mention custard.
2. If you must have curtains, keep Patti away from them. Or at least don't have any scented candles.
3. Watch out for those pesky P and O keys. They can get you into a LOT of trouble. Can't they David?
4. Do mention Bacon. A LOT.
5. err?

any more?

message 217: by Shona (new)

Shona (shonalee) | 4 comments Thank you David and Matthew, I suppose I should take a little 5 minute break at being nosey at this thing and actually go and have some dinner!

Laugh. A lot! And share when you laugh! A private giggle is great but shared laughter is multiplied.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments My favourite quote.

Shared sorrow is lessened, shared joy is increased.

Martyn Stanley | 7 comments Hello all!

I'm something of a reading hiatus at the moment. I've been trying to finish up my final assignment on my human genetics course for my degree and working on my own fantasy series. As soon my book 3 is released, I'm going to be sitting back to take a break and read a few titles.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 1752 comments Hello, I'm Anna Faversham. I've been looking around this group for quite a while now and recognize some of you as I also below to the Kindle Users Forum (KUF). I'm sure you'll be glad to know that Kuffers recommend this forum regularly.

I've been sneakily peeking at the posts quite a bit but now I hope to get to know some more of you as time goes by.

message 249: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Hi Anna! Lovely to meet you here! If you've been lurking you'll find there's a special section for authors so do start your own thread. It's useful to read the bit that says, 'Read this first' as it's surprising how many writers don't read!

The Morning thread in General Chat is the one we check into most days and it's a good place to make friends.
