Review: Very good story! I'm really liking this series...
The entire school's talking about the gorgeous new math teacher, Mr. Beck. Everyone except Kaylee Cavanaugh. After all, Kaylee's no ordinary high-school junior. She's a banshee—she screams when someone dies.
But the next scream might be for Kaylee.
Yeah—it's a shock to her, too. So to distract herself, Kaylee's going to save every girl in school. Because that hot new teacher is really an incubus who feeds on the desire of unsuspecting students. The only girls immune to his lure are Kaylee and Sabine, her boyfriend's needy ex-girlfriend. Now the unlikely allies have to get rid of Mr. Beck…before he discovers they aren't quite human, either.
But Kaylee's borrowed lifeline is nearing its end. And those who care about her will do anything to save her life.
Anything.

Review: Love Love Love Harry Dresden!! I've been looking forward to reading this book, and this series keep getting better and better! With Susan coming back into the picture and the warring of the councils, this was really good! Plus I got to listen to on audio with Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as narrator. It was fabulous!

Review: This is a second book of the series and the first one was so scary, that I couldn't read it when I was home alone and it started to get dark. Even thinking about it gives me goose bumps. The second book is not as scary for me, but both books have a long intro. I had quite hard time of reading it, but once when I got into it, it was amazing. Even though I got bored in some parts I'm happy I finished it and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book from this series.

Review: I am really enjoying this series.
Sabina Kane doesn't have the best track record when it comes to family. After all, her own grandmother, the leader of the vampire race, just tried to kill her. When she arrives in New York to meet the mage side of her family, the reunion takes the fun out of dysfunctional.
On top of that, the Hekate Council wants to use her as a pawn in the brewing war against the vampires. Her mission will take her into the bowels of New York's Black Light district, entangles her in mage politics, and challenges her beliefs about the race she was raised to distrust. And Sabina thought vampires were bloodthirsty.

Review: This was one hundred years of torture. I did not get this book, I've heard such good things about it and was incredibly disappointed. It was nothing but war and incest by an entire family with the same freaking name. So not only could I not keep them all straight while I was reading it, but they were all fucking each other anyway and miserable so it didn't really matter. They started miserable and ended up miserable or dead. What was the point? Where is the beauty in that? That's depressing and a waste of time when I could've been reading something that was entertaining or at the very least something that I could follow. I've read other reviews and you either loved it or hated it and I'm in the hate it crowd. If I have to have a super high IQ in order to appreciate this crap then I'm glad I'm normal. Give me Urban Fantasy and Romance any day.

Reliquary by Douglas Preston - Second book in the series

This was another amazing read from this series! I liked how Pendargast popped up in the most unexpected moment. This book takes Pendargast deep in the underground of New York city. This is very exciting thriller, which you can't put down till its over.

Bouchra review is still out and I sent her a messege with no answer...
It is 9pm and I really don't think she can get review in on time and Laura is sleeping so I am gonna call to use free pass and roll.

You can read a 3 or a 5 book in a series. Aternate is hardcover.

Sorry again and I hope you guys understand. I'll be back later with this roll's book after I go through the lists.
Cheers!

If this challenge is cause more conflict at this time and you would rather drop out for a time, just let Laura or Jenne know. There will be plenty other challenges in the future and taking care of what is happening should be your priority.
I wish you the best and know you are in my prayers.... Struggles in the long road make you stronger.....

I hope everything will work out for you! :)

I really am starting to love this fast pace series.....and it keeps getting better.
The vamps have been out for years, and now the weres and shifters have decided to follow the lead of the undead and reveal their existence to the ordinary world. Sookie Stackhouse already knows about them, of course - her brother turns into a panther at the full moon, she's friend to the local were pack, and Sam, her boss at Merlotte's bar, is a shapeshifter.
The great revelation goes well at first - then the horribly mutilated body of a were-panther is found in the parking lot of Merlotte's, and Sookie agrees to use her telepathic talent to track down the murderer. But there is a far greater danger than this killer threatening Bon Temps: a race of unhuman beings, older, more powerful, and far more secretive than the vampires or the werewolves, is preparing for war. And Sookie is an all-too-human pawn in their ages-old battle...

I'm sending good virtual thoughts your way!

Hope things settle down B. Let me know if you needs anything :)

Play with Me by Kristen Proby (3rd book in the series)
3 Stars 12.03
First I liked this book a lot. I like books which makes me laugh out loud :) and then they started talking about orgasms and I was no! I don't know any adult woman talking about orgasms that much, even if they are drunk. I didn't find it funny, because it wasn't and thats why this book gets 3 stars. And it gets 3 stars only because it made me laugh in the begging.

Review: I enjoyed this book, but not nearly as much as I did the other two. She changed the POV in this book and it was to my least favorite characters in the series. I really didn't think they deserved their own story even though they were funny side characters.

Review: This is not a favorite book in this series. It stared out slow and no very appealing but when you get to 1/3 in , it got better....
A vampire soldier weary of life...
Centuries ago, Sebastian Wroth was turned into a vampire—a nightmare in his mind—against his will. Burdened with hatred and alone for ages, he sees little reason to live. Until an exquisite, fey creature comes to kill him, inadvertently saving him instead.
A valkyrie assassin dispatched to destroy him...
When Kaderin the Cold Hearted lost her two beloved sisters to a vampire attack long ago, a benevolent force deadened her sorrow—accidentally extinguishing all of her emotions. Yet whenever she encounters Sebastian, her feelings—particularly lust—emerge multiplied. For the first time, she's unable to complete a kill.
Competitors in a legendary hunt...
The prize of the month-long contest is powerful enough to change history, and Kaderin will do anything to win it for her sisters. Wanting only to win her, forever, Sebastian competes as well, taking every opportunity—as they travel to ancient tombs and through catacombs, seeking relics around the world—to use her new feelings to seduce her. But when forced to choose between the vampire she's falling for and reuniting her family, how can Kaderin live without either?
