Hello all!

I'm in the same boat as Turtlecollector, I'd rather not be captain, because I'm not very reliable on Sundays (I've got church and work!). I might be up for a co-captain situation where I could do Thursdays and someone else could do Sundays, if anyone is up for that.

As far as team names go, I'm not super-creative, but in honor of March Madness coming up, one idea I had was "The Final Four."

None of us really seem incredibly enthused with idea of being team captain, so I guess I'll volunteer. I'll let y'all know if I need a back-up for rolling if things get too crazy in my real life.

I don't have much of an opinion about our team name, so I'm fine with Four-ward Readers, unless someone else has another suggestion.

Also, I'll message Lindy to make sure she knows about the thread and that she's on our team, since she hasn't posted yet.

I'll help you out Theo. We can co-captain. I am the opposite of you, I can do all the Sundays, it's the Thursdays I would have trouble with.

Review: Body Double is the fourth book in the Rizzoli & Isles series and the action starts right out of the gate. The prologue features a flashback where a young girl is led into a deadly trap by classmate, and then as the story returns to our familiar characters in the first chapter, Maura Isles is shocked when she comes home from France to find a woman who looks exactly like her murdered in front of her house. Throw in there a storyline about a pregnant woman who has been abducted, and these three storylines weave together to create quite the suspenseful mystery. In addition to learning more about Isles and her background, we also see Rizzoli, pregnant and about ready to pop, struggling to keep up her tough cop persona. I thought this installment came together better than the previous one, but the first two in the series still standout as my favorites.

With the publication date question, I was thinking about asking Jenne if the publication date has to be the original date or if it can include the publication date of the edition you're reading. I don't want Amy to get too far into the book and then find out it won't work. I'll let you know what I hear back.

Jenne said the year of the specific edition will work. So, as Turtlecollector stated just make sure the correct edition is linked to in the review post.

As people start posting their reviews, I'll create the post to link to all the reviews for the "Post Your Spot" thread for the roll on Thursday.

Lindy don't worry about the list of alternates. They're just there for reference. The captains will always tell the team which alternate they can read when the announce the roll to you here.

My motivation for having them assigned to each spot was to prevent anyone from reading early and also if a team had rolled before a mod had announced the alternate they weren't waiting on one of us.

raise. She really belonged to the Spring family in NJ and was called Jenny, but actually prefers to stay with her Ct family as the only child instead of being in a family with a number of children. Her Ct dad has a stroke and she is called upon to handle much of the family business. While doing so she finds a folder called HJ could it be Hannah Johnson the girl who kidnapped her? live iwtht he family she grew up with.

This was the first book in the series that didn't focus on Elena. It dealt with the vampire Dmitri, second to Raphael, who is not a very nice man and Honor, a hunter who is Elena's friend. I enjoyed this book and am glad I got to find out the back story to Dmitri. There were a couple of twists in the story and two separate cases when I thought it was all one case.

Great job everyone! I've got a couple more chapters and then I'll be through too.

Lindy, this is the post I put together for the thread where we report our reading for the Sunday roll. We won't be rolling for Thursday until midnight central time, which is a little over thirty minutes from now. I will post our new spot when it is time to roll.

I rolled a 5, which puts us on space 9.

That means read a book that's the 9th in a series, or the alternate is to read a book that has a white cover (at least 50% of the cover must be white).
