Cathy (cathygreytfriend) | 122 comments It appears that I've completely missed one of the most famous authors in fantasy and sci-fi, Michael Moorcock. I looked at his page and was just overwhelmed. Where should I start? I've been more in the mood for sci-fi than fantasy lately. Any suggestions?

Greyweather | 231 comments If you want sci-fi Moorcock style look for Behold the Man and The Dancers at the End of Time.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) I never cared for any of the Cornelius Chronicles, although I have kept an omnibus of them (Dancers is the first, I think) for years & try it now & again hoping for the right mood.

I loved all the Runestaff, Elric & Corum stories, though. Check them out at Fantastic Fiction before getting them. Some of the books are renamed.

Cathy (cathygreytfriend) | 122 comments Thanks, guys! I think I'll try The Dancers at the End of Time first just because the title is so evocative. Thanks for the reminder about Fantastic Fiction, Jim, that should help me navigate between all of the different titles on here and at my library. I was getting totally lost. And Chris, great link and I love your pic, your kids are adorable!

Jerin Tahapary ... He has something also about the true identity of Jack the Ripper... Set in a scifi style..

Was that the set of 3 stories he did with Ellison in 'Partners in Wonder'?

Jerin Tahapary ... Im not sure master Jim, ive only read about it on a scifi article , i think, i havent actually read the story... but it sparks my interest because Jack the Ripper on a scifi setting?...... reminds me of Star Trek's "Wolf in the Fold"...... what a classic!

We could google master Jim! to unravel

Jim (jimmaclachlan) Nope! It was Robert Bloch & Ellison that wrote those 3 Jack the Ripper stories in 'Partners in Wonder'. Well, 2 out of 3 facts right from memory isn't terrible. You can read a mention of that here along with more about Moorcock's Elric saga:
