I don't recall what author it was, but eons ago I worked on a author's works where a librarian had somehow made a comment that came up on the combine page - not attached to a specific book, as I recall, but for the author in general.
I've just learned that there's an author whose books have been translated into several languages, but the series numbers for each don't seem to bear any relation to the original works. I really don't want to go put a notice on every work, so I hope I haven't misremembered and someone can tell me how to do this :-)
Go to the author's profile page and click to "edit author data." Something like that anyway. On the next screen, just above the author name, is the link to "add a librarian note." That's the one that will show up at the top of the combine page by itself.
