((I'm gonna go soon, getting tired, but I can still RP for a bit))

"Are you a bender?" she asked, "Not like it matters, but still."

Aang grinned. "It's okay. I'm sure he'll find time!"

((Yeah, mt too.))

"No, magic is used commonly, but, with not only your 4 elements, there is also lightning, steel, poison, and more"


"My family practically just uses swords, not big magic users, so I don't know if this will work" the kid sighed

"Yeah, Azula used lightning, Toph can bend steel, but I don't think I've heard of poison bending."

"Don't worry, if it doesn't, Sokka can train you! He's the most heroic nonbender in the world."

"Hmm, I would like to spar with him some day" he smiled. "Are you a monk?"

"I dunno, kind of like a hermit by now," Aang grinned and rubbed his neck.

The kid smiled as they arrived at Zuko's palace

Link opened the door and saw the fire lord

Zuko looked out, "What is it? I'm kind of in the middle of something important." He sounded frustrated, but at least not angry.

Neither of the two knew what to do, they were hoping that the others would take care of it

Katara walked over. "Hey, um, these people came out of nowhere and I was wondering if you could show some firebending to this kid, see if he's adept."

"Sounds good," Zuko agreed. "I need a diversion anyways." He turned so his scarred face showed.

Both of them jumped, but Raion thought differently

"Wow! Is that a war scar?" He asked, very energetic

"No, my father did it to me because I protested his order to send new, inexperienced troops out to the front lines as bait."

"Your dad did that!" The boy said, looking to his father who had began to say that they would pay for rooms as well

"Yes," Zuko nodded, "He was one piece of work. I thought I heard Aang say you were interested in firebending?"

Raion nodded, "So... Is there anything you can teach me?"
