It is still new, and admittedly I spend a lot more time on Twitter, but I look forward to seeing everything you guys do.
*Cheers*

Here's mine. I tried to like everyone that has already posted pages. Hopefully I didn't miss anyone.

I've liked all the above, although, Lisa, I couldn't open yours.

Hmmm, maybe it's this? I think I lost some of the URL when I cut and pasted it the first time.

The most important info starts at the 4:20 minute mark.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing, but what I got from it is as long as we are liking our fellow authors' pages and staying engaged, i.e. liking statuses and posts, it will help to boost the exposure of the posts because FB will then broadcast them further to more people. Or did I not understand that correctly?
Whatever the case, I am genuinely enjoying seeing what my fellow GR authors are posting on FB. I hope anyone that liked my page is feeling the same.

Engagement is a must or you're wasting your time.

Trading 'likes' isn't a bad idea. The key though is that you have to be willing to be actively engaged in each other's posts. Social Media only works if you're engaged, not if you just post and do nothing to enhance other people's profiles.
What he's saying is don't buy Facebook likes. Collecting likes organically from those who will engage with your page is a 'good' thing. Buying them - you don't really know whom you are getting.
What is most important is engagement. You must have engagement to be seen. You must have fewer people doing things that will work against you - like saying they don't want to see what you have to offer on their newsfeed and fewer people unliking your page.
So the key is - Only like my page if you find benefit in it and will engage in my posts. Do not like my page just to get me to like yours.
I only follow those whom I deem as valuable and so should you. Don't try to game the system, don't try to build a social media or SEO ranking fast and by cutting corners - the only thing it will do is get your profile flagged as not valuable.
I work for a review site similar to GoodReads. What we look for is not the amount of traffic that came to read the reviews but how many viewers engaged by clicking to contact the company or find out more about them. It's the engagement that is valuable.
Check out my social media and follow me if you think you'll get value from it.
