I am adding books to our collective bookshelf. I know we are still working out names, groups, and the like - but I do not want to fall behind in adding our works to the bookshelf.

Post your work and the shelf it is to be placed under. I will then add.

It looks like the "Books" section at the bottom of the group page only shows books that have been read by the particular moderator. To see all members books, go to the group Bookshelf.

It would be nice if we could get all books on the group page. Does anyone know how to do that?

A.

For me it shows twelve of the books on the bookshelf, and when I click "more books" it takes me to the bookshelf.

Yes, I updated it by marking the books as read and didn't follow up on the thread.

Sam Friedman (sam_ramirez) | 4 comments Later this year I'll add two books, one Young Adult and one officially called "New Adult" (college aged readers). Is that an option?

Sam wrote: "Later this year I'll add two books, one Young Adult and one officially called "New Adult" (college aged readers). Is that an option?"

Absolutely. The whole notion of "genre" is so flexible, that we can invent as many sub-genre as we need. Just let us know when you are ready to have them added.

Justin (justinbienvenue) Opium Warfare the title has been fixed and this is the correct version so if you could swap this with the other that's on the site.

Thanks.

J. Burton | 61 comments I'm not complaining (it's just a friendly reminder!) but I still don't see it either on the bookshelf here, or on the Co-oPress page.

J. Burton | 61 comments While I try to get the impetus to actually write (only 1,000 words today - I spent the majority of my Saturday off struggling vainly to fix my internet connection) I have been working on a rebrand of my SF series.

The new covers for most have yet to go "live" on Amazon, but my Book 1 cover has - and can be changed both on here and the Co-oPress site.

J. Burton | 61 comments Cheers for that!

(I know I messed up your formatting a little on the Co-oPress site by making my images a little squatter, but I just liked them that way. They look more like a larger-format book, or a magazine, or something.)

J. Burton | 61 comments My new horror novella is up and ready, in time for Hallowe'en!

The Beast Beneath the Bed by J. Douglas Burton

I haven't been very active here recently, as I've been so busy (with various things). Good to see things are advancing, however.

message 43: by J. (new)

J. Burton | 61 comments Bah. Just realized I forgot to put the Nemesis logo on the cover, and the IACP logos in the front matter. I'll try to fix this tomorrow...

message 44: by J. (new)

J. Burton | 61 comments Not a lot of action in the Goodreads group recently...

Anyway, here's the latest (and the last!) of my "Dr Jeremiah" novellas. If it could be added to the Bookshelf here, and to the Co-oPress site that'd be awesome.

The Free World (The Star Travels of Dr. Jeremiah Fothering-Smythe #6) by J. Douglas Burton

In the front matter (before the logos) I put the Co-oPress URL instead of my blog's. (No one visited the blog anyway...)

I hope to have my next book to press during the Thanksgiving break. I'm going to use the small Helios logo on the cover and spine; include the full Helios logo with imprint webpage url, and IACP/Co-oPress logo and homepage url in the front matter. I'm also going to redo the Amagon cover to include the same, if time permits.

I know that if we keep spinning this web....

I also, BTW, mention the organization (only by the name "Co-oPress", I think) in the "Acknowledgments" at the end.

J. Burton | 61 comments And now my collected edition of all 6 "Star Travels" novellas (plus short story) is available!

The Star Travels of Dr. Jeremiah Fothering-Smythe Volume 1 (The Star Travels of Dr. Jeremiah Fothering-Smythe, #1-6) by J. Douglas Burton

It's in both e-book and paperback, but I don't have the p'back edition on Goodreads yet...
