Patricia d | 38 comments I'm in love with most Pride& Prejudice adaptations, most of Abigail Reynold stuff. Anybody have good recommendations, or other Austin revisionists?

Daphne Chennault (daphnech) | 68 comments I seem to recall a mystery author who used Austen as the detective. Maybe that was one of the authors you mentioned? Also, there was a short story recently which did a cute What If with Jane Austen writing Science Fiction! Can't remember the name or title, sorry.

Patricia d | 38 comments The Being a Jane Austen Mystery book series! By Stephanie Barron. I've been wanting to read those but didn't know if they'd be too dry or too flowery. The Beau Brummell Mysteries by Rosemary Stevens are too simpering for me.

Jennifer | 2 comments Carrie Bebris writes a good mystery series about the Darcys

Madelyn (madelynkontis) | 17 comments An Assembly Such as This is the start of Pamela Aiden's Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman series.

There are a couple other authors who have done the same with George Knightly and Captain Frederick Wentworth, but I haven't read them yet.

Rachel | 1 comments Have you read P.D. James' Death Comes to Pemberley? Classic. And Linda Berdoll's Darcy series is pretty good, too.

Patricia d | 38 comments I liked Linda Berdoll's first book, but I felt like she felt the need to punish characters a little overdramaticly.
