I'm going to start this really soon, and I don't know what to expect from this: I never read something of this author, and in this period I'm not too in love with paranormal book, but I love all the fae and similar, so the Bean Sidhes are intriguing :)

I totally agree with you!

Yep! I found it quite slow all the way through.

Me too!!!!!!

I agree! And it's very... annoying! I'm at 66% and (view spoiler)

I think it's a good guess :)
I was thinking about stopping the reading for now and pick it up tomorrow (so I can read something more intersting and less annoying, I know that I say always the same things, but it's annoying!) but now I think I'll go on and try to finish this ASAP because I have enough of this!

I felt the same way.

It was very very lucky to get 3 from me. It would have got 2.5 but i couldn't write the review. (Gr was being glitchy)

I read the first few chapters and found it pretty slow. Not a lot happening really.

It's not bad per say
but it's just so boring tbh

I was thinking that all the way through. It felt like it would never end.

Abbie, I'm feeling that never ending thing, but I only have one book that I've never finished, I'm not ready to add another to the list :P
I'm at 21%, it seems to have taken me days to get here! Have decided that this is sounds a lot better than it reads though, as it was alright when i had it on text-to-speech.

Same here, that is one of my favourite poems.

I agree with you, it is annoying me right now! This book is getting a 2.5 from me because it is too boring. Though, the premise was intriguing, the story doesn't hold that much excitement as other paranormal books I have read.
Liam MacGregor is cursed. Haunted by the wails of fantastical Bean Sidhes and labeled a demon by the villagers of Dòchas, Liam has accepted that things will never get better for him—until a wealthy heiress named Annabel Leighton arrives on the island and Liam’s fate is changed forever.
With Anna, Liam finally finds the happiness he has always been denied; but, the violent, mythical Otherworlders, who inhabit the island and the sea around it, have other plans. They make awager on the couple’s love, testing its strength through a series of cruel obstacles. But the tragedies draw Liam and Anna even closer. Frustrated, the creatures put the couple through one last trial—and this time it’s not only their love that’s in danger of being destroyed.
Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling poem, "Annabel Lee," Mary Lindsey creates a frighteningly beautiful gothic novel that glorifies the power of true love.
