i read it a couple of days ago. i'm not entirely sure of my feelings on this one. i think i felt that even though you get a backstory, there wasn't enough story for me to become connected with the characters. there were just vignettes, and i would rather have had them fleshed out a little.
otoh, the sex was plentiful and caught my attention, which is getting more difficult the more i read.

I finished this one today, and this is very much how I felt about it. I liked the aspect of seeing an established couple going through problems and working together to solve them, and yes, there was plenty of hot sex. I just never really connected with the characters though, except for the times I wanted to reach into the book and smack one or the other (mostly Carrick) in the back of the head! =P

I am about 45% in. I like it so far. I am enjoying the vignette style. I do like Ed more, but I'm enjoying Carrick too. Maybe it's just me, but I felt like there was some confusion or change in perspective at one point, like it went from first person to third, and the dialogue was hard to follow. Could have just been me though, reading it late one night and being tired.

I finished the other day and I thought it had potential, but never really got there for me. I was enjoying it, but the further I got, the more I wanted.
