Robert | 7 comments EDIT: Can be NA too, and for clarification, looking for a paranormal series.

^Title, been having a hard time finding anything, and a good romance is a plus.

Bonus points if its a male lead or shared PoV fem\male leads.

I think the only series i have read that fulfills this reqs is the Zero Sight series.

Lauren looking for? That's a guess.

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Lol! Sounds right. I was trying to figure out if it were a new genre of some sort. YA set in college is a bit harder to find, it's usually NA. Easy by Tamara Webber is a really good book. Anna and the French Kiss is YA set in an overseas boarding school. I know the name sounds ridiculous, but it's honestly one of the best books I've read. They both have romance. Not sure if that's the kind of thing you are looking for.

I read both of those and loved them both

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Whoops! You said romance is a plus, but neither of those are in a male POV. Tamara Webber wrote another book (forgot what it's called) but it tells the Easy's story in the male's POV. I haven't read it, but I'm sure it's amazing.

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Yes, K! Such great stories. Wish I could find more books like that. Pushing the Limits and the books after that in the series are really great, too, and I just remembered that they have alternating POV's between the female and male protag's.
Katie Mcgarry is the author and I am going to start the third book right now :)

I read pushing the limits and loved that one too. Right now I'm re-reading the Between the Lines series by Tamarra Webber. Have you read them?

message 9: by Jeanine (new)

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments I have and I loved them!!! I still haven't read the last one, though. Not sure I want to read about Brooke =\
I think that is her name..... I don't like her at all.

Robert | 7 comments Sorry i didnt clarify in the OP but what im looking for is in the Paranormal Genre.

(regardless, yes i have read Ana and the french kiss, it was aweesoome...)

message 11: by Jeanine (new)

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Oh.... Hmmm... Can't think of any. All the paranormal romance books I've read usually take place in High school or aren't worth a recommendation. If I think of any, I'll shoot you a rec :)

Cindy (Squin) | 112 comments The only one I can think of is the Curse Workers series. It's not in college, but they're in a boarding school. Also, the things these kids are dealing with are more worthy of older people, too. It's in the male lead's POV. I've read the first two and I loved them. Everything else I can think of, (and there actually are quite a few) are high school or dystopian!

White Cat (Curse Workers, #1) by Holly Black Red Glove (Curse Workers, #2) by Holly Black Black Heart (Curse Workers, #3) by Holly Black

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Oh, yes!!!! Love the curse workers series. Forgot about that. I still need to read the last one.

Robert | 7 comments Already read the curse workers, got black heart from preorder, yeah they were awesome.

Georgiana Derwent (georgianaderwent) | 18 comments Hi Robert, I normally try to avoid talking about my own books on the forums, as I know there's nothing more annoying than authors who won't stop promoting themselves at the most inappropriate times. However, as you've asked for such a specific type of book, and as my series pretty much ticks all the boxes (paranormal, romance, college setting, though admittedly not a male lead), I thought I'd make an exception. Hope people don't mind...

Oxford Blood (The Cavaliers: Book One)
Oxford Blood (The Cavaliers, #1) by Georgiana Derwent

A Tale of the Posh, the Privileged and the Paranormal...

The Cavaliers are the most elite society at Oxford University - rich, powerful, and beautiful. No one realises that they are no ordinary students, but a group of aristocratic vampires from the English Civil War. For four hundred years they have groomed the most promising students to run the government, police, and finance in the way the vampires wish, granting them eternal life in return for absolute obedience.

When Harriet French arrives at Oxford University from her working class northern state school, she’s prepared for a culture shock, but not to become embroiled in the Cavaliers’ scheming and bloodlust. Harriet thought she'd be busy enough juggling her demanding tutor, new friends, and the murky world of student politics. But now, she must find the rebel vampire who is killing off the members, stop the Cavaliers from orchestrating a massacre of the year’s most beautiful and successful students, and defy the Society to be with the man of her dreams.

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Wow, Georgiana! That actually sounds pretty good. I might check it out ;)

message 17: by Amy (new)

Amy Elizabeth (amy_elizabeth) Hey! I'd try to Covenant College series by Amanda M. Lee. College kids, the paranormal and it's well written, which is always pretty nice.

message 18: by Heather (new)

Heather (crystalmirror) | 5 comments Not many set in college. Some, like the Dresden Files, use college students. Most are set in boarding schools, or the age group your looking for is on their own. The only ones I can think of are already listed. Some series start in high school, and then take their characters further in life.

Waffle Monarch | 59 comments Try Good Intentions by Elliot Kay. Seems to fit exactly what you're looking for.
