Me too, Isaboe! Minesweeper was my first challenge since joining the group and I had the greatest time. This is such a fun group.

Minesweeper was my first team challenge and I'm enjoying it a lot, so I'm looking forward to this one! Being on a team is a lot of motivation for me.

Me too! I've found myself reading a lot more and ditching Netflix for more books. :)

Should we have some form of organization so it's not complete chaos?

I'm not really sure how we could organize this. I don't think it should be too bad as long as we check what others have guessed so we don't waste our guesses since there are only 4 of us. I'm open to ideas though :)

Yeah I was trying to think of some way to strategize but I think that's the best we can do. And we can discuss what we think the titles are in the chat.

The key is to post reviews immediately after finishing books.

Okay, I'm reading The Color Purple by Alice Walker, so I'll use A so we can have a vowel.

I'm reading The Selection so I'll do K and O.

I've finished The Selection. Tonight I'll be starting The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J Maas so once I'm done I will guess M and R.

This is where we are so far:

Letters guessed: K, O

So it's likely that the first word is Don't or Won't.

Our biggest hint here is that the author's surname has only 3 letters. There aren't a huge amount of those. The only authors I really know with 3 letter surnames are Harper Lee and Jenny Han, and none of their books work. Do you guys know any more?

And how about, to speed things along, whoever guesses the title picks the next number? It'll be easier than consulting.

Sorry and in response to waiting between posting reviews, I agree. Better to save them in case one of us can figure out the answer! I've asked in the review thread if I'm allowed to post reviews for the separate short stories and claim a buddy point for the whole book. If I'm the first to post a review tomorrow it will be The Assassin and the Pirate Lord, so I will guess A.

I finished The Color Purple last night so I'll get my review up shortly. Should I stick with A or use a consonant?

This title is so frustrating! I can't find a single author that fits.

I'm too lazy to add 20 updates to The Assassin's Blade thread so I can get a buddy point for every story so I'm just going to claim the entire book as 1 buddy point and use each story for a non-buddy read guess.

That's completely reasonable, Ashley. I have a hard time just doing the 4. lol

I looked through Abbie's books, because it makes sense that she would have encountered the book at one point. 119 pages and nothing.

I'm also unable to use a list of books that start with a certain letter because the first word is probably "the" and the GR lists don't count it as a word! Do you guys think I should guess M as opposed to L? T also works.

I'll help! I can do 1-52, Isaboe you can do 53-104 and Abby you can do 105-156? Could you link me though? I'm on my phone.

I'm going to look through the pages before I post my review in case we find the answer.

I still have around 18 pages left but so far no luck.
