Karl Øen You ought start reading the Scarpetta-series the beginning (if you can get them). I found the early ones being better than the later ones, the later tend to be a bit formulaic.

Jane The Body Farm is an excellent start. It is in TN. and was used in the Casey Anthony case.

Dee Waite As with any series, it is always nice to be able to begin at the beginning, however I've now read several of Cornwell's books and have jumped all around when doing it. I've found that she writes in a way that I never feel lost, or feel the overwhelming need to stop and locate a previous book in order to land my position. I thoroughly enjoy her books. As Jane mentioned above, LOVED the Body Farm. Great place to start if you get the chance.

Jane Patricia Cornwell is one of my favorite authors. Just jump write in and enjoy!!! Each book is different and does not requiring reading in order. None are sequels. Have a blast!!!
