Damini I believe all of you've heard about John Green's The Fault in Our Stars will hit the screen on June 6th, this year. The official trailer has been added to this group's videos.

Josiane Claremont | 161 comments Just out of curiosity, how many people here AREN'T going to see the movie, because they don't want to cry in the theater?

Haha, that'd be a bit embarrassing to cry in the theater ! But that can never stop me from watching it. NOTHING can actually! Plus think about it, almost everyone out there will be cry (supposedly!), so it won't be that hard for us!

Rhea and Rory James (rheaandroryjames) | 62 comments It's okay if you cry in the theatre!!' We have to go and see it!! Lots of people will be crying!

Nadia | 15 comments I think most of the audience will start crying, but even if they don't(which I hardly doubt) the theater is dark and if you don't cry too loud no body will notice, well maybe the people sitting next to you will notice.
I would LOVE to watch it in the theater but sadly I can't, hopefully I'll get to see it when it comes on DVD.

Damini Watched it yesterday, finally!

It was a treat to watch the movie. I can not find a single thing to complain about, really! The actors were brilliant, all of them did a perfect job in portraying the characters they played. I loved Shailene Woodley as Hazel, I loved Ansel Elgort as Gus even more! Augustus Waters was so so so adorable on screen, as much as he was in the book! Really, it couldn't have been better!

I loved the movie as it did complete justice to the book. :)

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I loved it it did the book justice and caused tears to spill in the theatre

This is now my favorite movie EVER!!!!!!!!!!!It bumped Divergent down to my second favorite movie. I went to see it with 2 friends, and a box of tissues. We finished the popcorn before the movie- it was a large- and used the bucket as a tissue trashcan. I cried so hard! I love Ansel Elgort! He's so beautiful. Shailene Woodley was great as both Hazel and Tris but I liked her more as Hazel. My only problem was that these annoying girls kept running up and down the aisles and laughing at all the super sad parts, where everyone else in the theater was crying.

message 14: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (booklover_04) I watched it and almost everyone was crying so I wouldn't worry about it.

@CasterGirl4812: well a lot of people laughed when I saw it but they were laughing at the funny noises everyone was making when they cried :P

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

That are do mean

message 16: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (booklover_04) Wait, what? No they weren't being mean almost everyone in the theatre was crying and then laughing at themselves...

message 17: by Kayla (new)

Kayla Yes haha. I saw it the day after opening night and my mum and friend were laughing at this girl sobbing behind me. I cried though and laughed at other people who were crying wayyy to loud

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh I thought they were laughing just to be annoying

message 19: by Kayla (new)

Kayla Nah. It just kind of happens. Its like everyone realizes at once that they are crying over a fictional character and it has two effects: 1) Makes you cry harder 2) Makes you start laughing :)

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Well that makes more sense

message 21: by ➳Halina➳ (new)

➳Halina➳ This movie was the absolute best. I went to The Night Before Our Stars.(FYI John's cameo was hilarious.) But I cried so hard. And laughed pretty hard, too. They didn't leave a lot out, and I thought it was just perfect.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

Okay, sorry for my brief sobbing, but I thought that this movie was amazing! Sometimes I get a little bit peeved by people who seem to love movies just because they recently came out, but this movie...WOW. There is no excuse to NOT have this movie be one of your favorites. I went to The Night Before Our Stars, and I broke down. They really brought the book to life. They barely left things out (like Kaitlyn and the airport), but those minor things didn't have to be used to pin down on this extraordinary love. They circled more around the romance than the cancer. They could've made Augustus' death/dying WAY TOO SAD by making it longer as they did in the book, but I was pretty happy I didn't, because that would have changed the movie theater into a saltwater lake.
