Guidelines
- Read ONE book for each category (10 books in total)
- You don't have to read all ten items, if you don't think you'll be able to finish in time. Please choose based on your reading speed.
- Any genres are acceptable, but since we are a young adult group, please try to include as many young adult books as you can.

2. August and September: read a book that fits at least one of the following options:
a. author's first name and last name start with the same alphabet
b. a book with the words in title that start with the same alphabet
ex: Ashes to Ashes, Ruin and Rising

3. Book Lover's Day (August 9th): read a book with over 10,000 ratings on Goodreads

4. National Dog Day (August 26th): read a book that fits one of the following options

a. read a book with a dog on the cover
b. read a book that is about dogs | Dog Books (many have dogs on the cover as well)
c. if you own a dog, read a book with a page count that has the age of your dog in it
ex. if your dog is 3 years old, you can read a book with 413 pages

5. Roller Coaster Day (August 16th): read an "amusement park" book that fits one of the following options

a. since amusement parks sell lots of junk food, read a book that has junk food on the cover | Junk Food (most are junk food but some on this list are not)
b. read a book with a ride on the cover | Ferris Wheel Covers

6. Wonderful Weirdos Day (September 9th): read a comical/funny book | New Releases categorized in the "funny" genre

7. National Video Games Day (September 12th): read a book that fits on of the following options:

a. read a book based on video games or a book with a main character who loves them
b. read a book that has any type of technology on the cover
ex: laptops, TV, kindles, phone, camera, etc.
c. read a book in one day since this day is for staying inside all day and gaming

8. International Dot Day (September 15th): read a book that fits one of the following options:

a. read a fantasy since this day is used to show and share your creativity
b. read a book with some sort of polka dots/circles on the cover | Circles on Cover (lots but not all of these will work for this challenge)

9. Hobbit Day (September 22nd): read any book that was published in the 1900's

10. Reader's Choice: read any book of your choosing

Hi, how is August/September connected to names/titles starting with the same letter? I understand why it was for June/July because both start with J, but not why it works for August/September. During April/May, I know it was finding a title with both the letter A and M.. Could someone explain this to me?
