Ye the cover is gorgeous. I hope you don't mind me asking but since you do alot of buddy reads, how do acquire all your books, you buy them all or do you have a great library?

I do a combination. I do purchase a lot, but I used to NEVER use the library. One day I had to admit I'm not rich! Lol

I check the price of the paperwork, hardback, and ebooks. (Plus I get a 25% teacher discount twice a year at B&N.) I buy whichever is cheapest. Lol There are times I get the ebook & love it so I'll buy hard copy too.

My library definitely isn't the best, but I can get a large number of books from our system so I can't complain. If I want to BR & can't get it from the library, I always buy it. Oh, I also got Kindle Unlimited. I really like it even though it costs annually.

How about you?

I don't really use the library, I buy some for kindle. I volunteer in a charity shop so I somemtimes buy cheap books there. I also get a lot of my books off of netgalley (a site where you get them free from publishers to review) hence why I post loads at once. This is one of the free ones. I am really looking forward to it.

I used to read books to review, but after a while it became like a job for me. Plus I got a new computer and could no longer figure out how to get them onto my NOOK.

ah okay, think you need to set up an email on your nook, that's how it is with the kindle anyway. Ye it can get a little stressful at times but some of the books I get arejust amazing and wouldn't find otherwise so it's worth it. Recently I read for review and I want to read it again already, it was SOOOOOOO good. :)

When I used Netgalley, I didn't understand much about it and I didn't know we had only so much time before the books were dumped. LOL I messed up a lot, so I don't even know if I could use them anymore.

a lot of people seem to have that problem. I just download it as soon as I am allowed it. I don't like the ones I have to read on my comp, really hate reading full books on there. I currently have 10 waiting for me. I ahve let them get a little out of control but I will get to them all eventually.

Yes. I have actually let it get a lot out of control but I am rtying my best to catch up lol

I haven't started this yet, will get to it as soon as I can, it's one of the ones I am most looking forward to, so hopefully soon :)

haha don't worry. I was thinking that about myself lol, I have about 20 open ones, went and read about 6 of them (well a chaoter or two) today, hoping to do some more tomorrow, I need to start finishing some and soon.

That truly is comforting! If I had a couple weeks off I MIGHT be able to catch up. LOL

I am not working just now and not managing to catch up, but I am working hard to find a job.

Finished Ch. 5

I'm not sure what I think yet. It started off really interesting, but then I ran into editing issues and that always is so distracting for me!!

But I agree that it is a lot like Hunger Games.

Finished Ch. 10 and OMG!

I can't believe how (view spoiler)[cold Ky is! The way she shot that one twin in both legs. Ugh! (hide spoiler)]

Luke (view spoiler)[really is mentally strong. He's really there to help Ky focus and not possibly give the powers that be any reason to off them! (hide spoiler)]

When they both (view spoiler)[were given the injections, I was thinking there was no way! Once a person does that to you there is NO telling what their intention really is or how it will change you, possibly forever. Poor Ky trying to keep it together! (hide spoiler)]

Can't help but to feel so bad for (view spoiler)[Ky and her repetitive nightmares about her uncle. So terribly upsetting! (hide spoiler)]

I doubt I'll read more today, but it's picking up my interest level even IF the editor doesn't know the difference between "compliment" and "complement." With students or even the general public, I get it; with an editor it is inexcusable. I HATE errors and not just typos!

I still haven't read past chapter 2, will try and get to it soon :)

Chapter 7 (view spoiler)[ I actually don't like their relationship, seems a little one sided to me. Luke is in charge and Ky doesn't get to think for herself really.

I agree that it's interesting, I just wish there was a little more explanation as how things are set up, I keep feeling we are finding things out too late. (hide spoiler)]

chapter 10 (view spoiler)[ wow, you were right it got interesting fast. I wonder what it was for, are they changing to vampires? werewolves? Is Cory created or normal? If his eyes are already blue maybe he is normal. If love is not meant to be in their DNA why are two guys chasing her.

I'll try to read a couple chapters today. But I have so many other books I have to finish. I'll be reading ALL DAY today and tomorrow. I wish it were the week of October 12 already because I have that week off. LOL You know what I'll be doing that week! LOL

Jeez, I don't see all the posts unless I actually get on my computer and go through all of the requested/upcoming/in progress threads. I never see them all, thus the three days it took me to see this! LOL

Do you not see it in you notifications? OKay, what about a chapter every few days, they are long chapters if I remember correctly?

I do get notifications on my phone, but I either don't get every single one or after so many some drop. I'm not sure but I do know that I have definitely not seen some.
