A World Without Sun discussion

Sunny arched her brow. “Is something wrong?” The girls never four, but she recognized a fight from when her brothers would do it. “Why wouldn’t Autumn want to play?”

"She's thinks it's my fault mommy and daddy are fighting and won't be around each other. Cause I had us come here ONCE." Victoria huffed hugging her grandmother. "Now shes rude and won't talk to me

Sunny kept her mouth shut. She didn’t blame Autumn for feeling how she did. That stunt terrified Ginger and broke her heart.

"Why dont we go inside and see? She may want to." Cole said to move them along. He didnt have it in him to go over this with their granddaughter after her parents already did.
Victoria sighed and slid out of Sunny's arm and held her hand and Cole's and let them inside. "Mommy said I have to keep Beverly with me but she doesn't like to play much."

“Oh?” Sunny tried to stay engaged in the conversation, but something about this entire thing was bothering her. Why would Ginger let the girls stay with Cameron if he emotion bent her? Did she really believe he wouldn’t do it to the girls?
She reduced when Autumn came into view.

Victoria rushed over not paying attention to that Autumn wasn't in the middle of her ballet practice.
Cole sighed. Sometimes it supervised him that the girls weren't twins bases on how they acted. "I'll go make sure they dont end up in another fight."
Victoria's guard noticed Ginger's mother studying her. "Yes Lady Sunny?"

“Are you here on behalf of my daughter?” She asked bluntly.

She nodded. "She wanted another set of eyes on the girls." She said vaguely not sure if Ginger had gone into detail about why with her mother. She sure wasnt going to get involved

She nodded slowly. “Any idea why she trusts him enough not to hurt the girls?”

"Its not him that she doesn't trust." The guard said chosing their words selectively. She wasnt sure how much her leader told Sunny. It was bad enough that she was on babysitting duty. She didnt want to get in the middle of a family feud.

Sunny nodded slowly. She wanted to press further, but doubted the guard would give her much to work with. “How are the girls doing?”

"The girls are good. Safe. Energetic well Princess Victoria is. You know how quiet Princess Autumn gets." She shrugged. "The King has been kind to them albeit distracted but he has been good to them. "

Sunny nodded. “That’s good, at least.” She sighed. “If you need anything, let me know.”

The guard nodded, stepping back when her family returned to them.
"Maw Maw, we should do a tea party!" Victoria bounced. Autumn couldn't avoid her if their grandparents were here too. If she could just get her to talk and play with her, then maybe she could get her sister-cousin to see how ridiculous she was with this whole silent treatment thing. "We can use the dining room!"
Autumn took Sunny's hand, "I wasn't done with my lesson." she grumbled to herself, looking down at her ballet shoes.

Sunny rubbed her granddaughter’s knuckles with her thumb. “I’m sorry we interrupted your lessons. I’ll be sure to get your schedules from your father so it doesn’t happen again.” She smiled lightly. “A tea party sounds like a lovely idea.”

Victoria grinned and pulled Cole ahead chatting with him excitedly, while Autumn hung back with Sunny.
"I think somethings wrong with Uncle Cam." She whispered, glancing at her parents' ghosts. Sometimes she wished they would leave her alone. It was weird to see them but not really interact with them like how Tori did with her parents. But she overheard them sometimes and they talked about Cameron a lot.

Sunny frowned a little. “You think so?” It must have been something of a child was noticing it. “I could try talking to him later,” she offered, though she wasn’t sure what she’d say.

Autumn nodded trying not to look at her parents' ghosts. She wanted to say more but didnt want them getting upset st her or for her Maw Maw to get sad like Aunt Ginger did when she brought them up. "Maybe he can come to the tea party?"

Sunny forced a smile for the girl’s sake. “That sounds nice. I’ll have one of the servants fetch him for us.”

"I can go get him." Their guard offered, feeling confident that the girls would be okay with Ginger's parents temporarily while she stepped away.
Autumn watched their guard go before focusing on Sunny. "Are all families broken?"
