This is the thread for Chapter 13 & 14 of Reaper's Gale. I hope you're all enjoying it so far, let us know all your thoughts :) (but no spoilers for later parts of the book please!)

Any mention of Gods or Ascendants?
What about the magic used in this one so far?
Any Bridgeburners still?

And so we meet Beak! Seriously all it took was one chapter and I was already feeling empathetic to Beak. Amazing characterisation!

Beak's magic is interesting alright - he sees the magic/warrens as candles and he can use ALL OF THEM!! WOW!!

As for The Bridgeburners, we have Fiddler with the Fourteenth, Hedge travelling with a Jaghut in some realm and Quick Ben also in some realm where Tellann is still alive. I'm sure these will all come together somehow.

Oh of course, another ex-Bridgeburner, Toc with the Awl. I'm still not very sure where that storyline will take us.
