I would recommend finishing all the books before watching the show. Otherwise things will be spoiled for you.

I mean, it's been way too long and still no new one on the horizon. I don't know if I will read the new books when they finaly do come out.

I'm with you, especially when there's talk of divergence between the tv series and the books. Of course, I might change my mind by the time I actually see a new book, but in the meantime my interest has waned.



That is awesome! I am a couple chapters farther past the point where Tyrion and the counselors at King's Landing have just received the rumors of Jaime's and Cersei's incest.

Go check out the subreddit for A Song Of Ice And Fire. The detailed world of Martin is unbelievable and has led to detailed papers and theories on future events. There is so much to explore post-read, and I seriously recommend reading the books a second time.
