Ooh, I've had this on my Kindle for a while now, I'll do my best to get to it this month :) Can't wait to read with all of you!

I tried to read this a while back for a different book club. I never finished it so I'll try and read it again. here's what I thought the first time:

DNF at 19%

This book had too many words and too small a font to grab my attention. I'm rarely that bored when I don't even finish a book, especially a book club pick. But I had to put this down; I have other stuff that will surely entertain me.

I hope so too. I'm going to give it another try though.

Okay, I gave it a good try but I still didn't like this book very much. There were really good action scenes and had so much potential to be more. I just found it completely lacking.

OK, I finally started this one! I'm 30% in and quite enjoying the read so far :) I really like the cleverness of the concept (view spoiler)[with Sabriel as a necromancer and learning about all the different things she can do. I also LOVE Mogget the cat LOL. I'm a sucker for funny animals in stories. (hide spoiler)]

Mogget my favorite character. Kind of reminded me of a darker version of Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch lol
